One can say that Jason Garrett's play calling in last year's playoff loss to the Giant's was questionable (considering that TO's playing time was considerably lower than usual) and even though anyone can see that, you can also see the brilliance of Garrett's offensive system. Garrett is waiting for his opportunity to take over the reigns of the Dallas Cowboys, this Fan says it happens next year. And yes, the drought will end this year, we will brinG home the Lombardi Trophy:starspin

so are you suggesting that Garrett is trying not to have us win now so he can be a successful HC ?????

Why don't you stop watching Tv, and jot down the numbers that TO had against the Giants in there last 2 games, and then compare them to our playoff loss, and don't bring up his injury, you do remember his superbowl performance don't you?

"Garrett is trying not to have us win now so he can be a successful HC"

No I am saying he is learning from his mistakes...you can't honestly think Garrett was completely satisfied with his play calling in that loss.

so you're suggesting that Garrett is trying to usurp Wade's position by dumbing down the play book in the playoffs?

no I'm saying he messed up by not utilizing TO properly in that playoff loss, geez did you watch the game...and no he is not trying to usurp, its inevitable, why don't you dig up Jason's paycheck compare it to wades

I don't know about dumbing down, but numbers don't lie....

For reference, what numbers are you referring to? Romo attempted passes to Owens 10 times in the first game, 13 times in the second and 12 in the playoffs. The fact that he only caught 4 of them in the playoffs is dependant upon other factors.

attempts? attempts? gee, now we are winning games by attempts huh, I thought TD's won games not attempts.....it's ok to defend garrett I defend him also in sportstalk, but it's also ok to question gameplans that clearly do not work during certain games, case in point, TO is Hurt, use him as a decoy, hopefully the other receivers will step up, oh that didn't work, Run the Ball every play, oh shoot, ok go back to TO, 12 attempts, 4 catches, cowboys go home, Giants win the SB end of story, Im done with this thread, troll all you guys want, bye

Wow .......

I think I will let you guys take this one.

I think I kinda understand some of what he is saying.
This is the part I understand, we will bring home the Lombardi Trophy(I agree) secondly he is saying that Garret will be the HC next season (I agree).

I have said both of those things myself. The reason why I say we win it all, we are waaaaaaaaay overdue, and we have the team, talent and coaching staff, hunger etc etc.

I said that Garet will be the HC, whether we win or not. I figure Jerry will talk Wade into another job within the organization(Front Office) or Wade will ride off into the sunset after we win it all, and if by chance we get derailed again, the HC will definitely become Garret's.

Jerry did not do all that work to bring Garrett back and to keep him for nothing, he is a HC in waiting.

Remember Jerry tried talking Garrett into becoming a coach after the 99 season, but Garrett wanted to keep playing.

The other stuff the poster is saying, about the play calling I am not tracking right now
