The BS won't go away. We could go 5-0 through December, blow everyone out including the Colts in the Super Bowl, and someone in the media or here will whine about Wade's post-Super Bowl presser, or they'll whine that Romo should have lifted the trophy with his throwing arm not his non-throwing arm because that's how Tom Brady does it, etc etc.

Just embrace all the hatred!
ROFL, classic.

Never mind the fact that Wade Phillips had a winning record as Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills, because... you know... It doesn't get cold up there. :)

He did fine, until it got cold.;)

4. Who's stock does Colin Cowherd buy?
He has Pete Carroll's photo on knee pads for starters.

He's absolutely right.

Romo's Cowboys have failed in 2 Decembers since he's been the starter. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in 2007 because honestly the Cowboys took care of business to the point where December was kinda gravy. Well it's December again and the Cowboys are going to have to play their way to glory. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...

Hey, Agenda boy. The Cowboys have had problems in the month of Dec. for a long time prior to Romo being the QB.

Cowherd was actually blasting Pete Carroll today for being upset that Stanford blew them out and scored with 7 minutes to play, but then throwing a touchdown pass with 40 seconds remaining this weekend against UCLA.

Just a few months ago, Cowherd was buying shares of Giants stock left and right. If I were a cautious investor, he wouldn't be the first person I would ask concerning NFL futures.

Figures. Pick them #1 every year but when they have a rough go, pile on when the waters are safe. But at least he went there for once, though I'm not sure it meant anything.

He also said that he doesn't get emotionally invested, but the Saints and the Vikings are far and away the best NFC teams...

...I would think in Week 12, that's being emotionally invested.

Maybe, but it would be a hard point to argue.

Says that Romo pads his stats against bad teams

This stuff always drives me crazy. Of course he pads his stats against bad teams. What is he supposed to do against them? Everyone pads their stats against bad teams - that's why the teams are bad.

Also, I'm shocked! shocked! that players have worse numbers against good teams than they do against bad teams.

Heard it through a friend...Colin Cowherd said that he isn't buying "Romo & Cowboys Stock" because he isn't an "emotional investor." Says that Romo pads his stats against bad teams and that Wade Phillips is incapable of preparing our team to play on the road in cold weather in December...says that the Cowboys will fold and won't make the playoffs.

that sounds about right.

He also said earlier in the year that the Green Bay Packers would beat the Minnesota Vikings "handily" at Lambeau Field. Final Score: 38-26 Vikings. Oops.

Funny thing is, I remember when Colin was all about Romo and the Cowboys. He changes his tune and does not think people realize it. About 4 years ago he was going on and on about how much better Vick was then Favre. That Favre was way, way, way over rated. Now I hear him talk about how good Favre is. He rides the bandwagon.

Well, Dallas did lay an egg against Green Bay whom Minnesota obliterated and defeated twice and the Saints are undeniably playing the best football as of week 12, so Dallas is a distant third on the conference totem pole.

He's right, I wouldn't be buying into our stock right now either. We've allowed too many bad teams to stay in games and we're going to get destroyed by teams like New Orleans playing that type of football. We're as lucky as any team in the league that we've had such a vanilla schedule to this point.

So I guess the Eagles are pretenders also since they play an identical schedule???

I dont know if you have been keeping up with current events, but there is this thing called "Common Opponents" where division teams play basically identical schedules.

The Eagles, Giants, and Skins all play the same vanialla schedule we do using your logic. How come the Eagles are legit and we are not when we each have the same freaking schedule???

Lets go outside the division, the Mighty New England Patriots have terrorized the league this year with ZERO wins against teams above .500. So how come you are not claiming that the Pats 7-3 record is a product of a vanialla schedule???

The mighty Saints that are trying to go undefeated that you think are going to destroy us..............2 wins against teams over .500.

Note: Dallas has 2 wins against teams over .500 as well.

See this is the flaw in your logic, you say we have padded our record by beating scrub teams with a vanailla schedule, but you fail to explain how these other "contenders" are legit when they have hardly any wins over teams above .500 as well??? We have beat up on patsies and are frauds according to you, but the Saints are the greatest thing since sliced bread even though they have the exact same # of wins that we do against teams over .500

How do you explain this apparent contradiction in your logic???
