I don't care if you respect me or not. The stats support my position, and nobody can refute that.

Yet when stats support a positive thought, you are nowhere to be found.

It isnt so much his preparation as his lack of leadership. The guy is just soft and doesnt demand respect or attention from his players.

You can argue all you want, but history shows that his teams have collpased every where he's been

A little quote from Marty McFly: "History is about to change." ;)

Simply not true

I remember a certain game a few weeks back on a chat. You logged off when things were going fine and dandy. Either the Atlanta game or Seattle.

Romo throws an interception or it was a fumble, and VIOLA! You logged back on. More than a few PM's shot back and forth laughing about it.

I really hope so. I'm so ****ing sick of losing when it counts.

As opposed to winning when it doesn't? Which of our wins this season was extraneous?

We've consistently lost big games with playoff implications late in the season over the last 4 years, plus two playoff games. Other than GB in '07 and NY in '08, we havent performed well in "big" games late in the season

Winning early in the year doesnt matter if you can't close out

I logged off in sheer frustration during the GB game, and I don't think I was even in chat during the second half of the Seattle game. I logged back into the Atlanta chat after Crayton's punt return TD

It was funny as **** when it happened. There were more than just a few comments and PM's. It's your bed you've made.

I can't fault anyone for not "buying into" this team just yet. As a fan, I have some faith they can get it done. But, ya know, there are Cleveland fans thinking they can win every week, too.

Forget the month on the calendar, the Cowboys simply need to show they can play well with their season on the line.

This is a new season. Do you understand this concept? You see, in the NFL, you actually get a chance to improve every season. You add players like Brooking and Olshansky, others like Austin and Jenkins emerge as stars, etc.

Every season is different. Games are not decided based on prior year stats.

Maybe you didn't get the memo, but 2008 is over. We are 8-3 right now and leading the division.

And by the way... the Herd is full of s**t

A few weeks ago he said the Steelers were the best team in the league.

Wade Phillips record in December and January as a HC: 16 - 24

Wade Phillips record in the postseason as a HC: 0 - 4

Wade has had one winning December in 9 years as a HC.

4 times he has carried a division lead into December, and 3 times he lost it

I don't know about the rest of your stats, but the following Wade-coached teams had 500 or better records in December during his 9 years as HC.

1998 Bils
1999 Bills
2003 Falcons
2007 Cowboys (500 in Dec)

I also know it's inaccurate to penalize a coach for getting middling teams into wildcard playoff rounds where they are beat by better teams, which has happened to Wade at least two of the four playoff games he's had.

What you're doing is looking at strings of data that give you an incomplete picture, then drawing a wrong conclusion because that conclusion supports your insecurity about the current team. Wade doesn't get credit as a coach capable of getting his team deep into the playoffs because he hasn't done that yet, but you do need to at least try to look at his numbers in context to see if he's performed or not performed relative to expectations.

Just so everybody knows, Collin was all over the Pat's jock and picked them to beat the Saints tonight.

I will repeat that....HE PICKED THE PATS TO BEAT THE SAINTS!!!!

His predictions are crap, just like he said Pittsburgh was the best team in the NFL a couple of weeks back. Reality is they probably are not even going to make the playoffs.

I dont know about you guys, but when somebody keeps making predictions over and over that all turn out to be crap, I kinda stop listening. In fact, based on his track record so far, I am kinda glad he thinks Dallas is not even going to make the playoffs. We are guaranteed to make the playoffs now!!!

Unfortunately, until we win BIG in December and January this will be the popular point. Sad that had Romo been able to hang onto that snap vs Seattle this all would be so far gone.

Heard it through a friend...Colin Cowherd said that he isn't buying "Romo & Cowboys Stock" because he isn't an "emotional investor." Says that Romo pads his stats against bad teams and that Wade Phillips is incapable of preparing our team to play on the road in cold weather in December...says that the Cowboys will fold and won't make the playoffs.

He also said earlier in the year that the Green Bay Packers would beat the Minnesota Vikings "handily" at Lambeau Field. Final Score: 38-26 Vikings. Oops.

I have to agree with CC. Until the Boys prove him wrong history backs his take.

Do you think the Boys are contenders? I don't think they could beat NO or MIN at this point.
