If he's so sold on Dak why bring in the kid?

Why not just sign a vet or keep Grier?

Dak fans all shook right now trying to explain this one away and a nothing burger.
It is looking like a show me year for dak and mike.
Also it seems Dak has been quiet since the lance deal went down.
Mike said trey has a beautiful mind, lol so was that him brown nosing jerry, or was he just doing what jerry told him to do?

jerry lies all the time, he is a compulsive liar. So I tend to not believe what he says about the future.
Actually he’s blatantly honest all too often divulging our hand publicly unlike any other owners or GM’s around the league.

What Jethro also does is flip based usually on public perception and pressure.

I think the bigger reason is he simply became available and there is really no connection to the timing of his acquisition.

To have any chance of winning a SB you need a QB that shows up when needed. We saw Hurts go toe to toe in the SB. Burrows has beaten the Chiefs and made it to a SB.
Stafford struggles but made plays to get his team a SB win. Josh Allen played one of the most spectacular games against the Chiefs a few years ago in the playoffs. Those guys haven't all won SBs but they have shown at some point the can play great against good teams. Several things they all have in common that Dak doesn't have is strong accurate arms and pedigree.
so just Mahomes has been drafted and took his team to and won a SB in like the last decade... I didnt ask who you thought "might" win one I asked in your "Go get one in the draft" scenario who has done it...

Cowturd is back in business today. Can’t believe the Ringer had the audacity to rank Dak over Hurts. The media is trying its hardest to make me dislike Hurts and Lamar. Both good quarterbacks but neither throw the football on the level of Dak. Cowturd’s co host had the nerve to say Hurts last season was better than any season Dak ever played. I would make the argument that Wince’s second season was better then Hurts was last season.

There was a time when Romo's time was up. Lets not pretend it's not an injury away from happening again. Great insurance move. We had no idea (the staff did) what we had until Prescott started playing. Lance has more potential in my opinion, to be a better QB.

The wild, off the wall claims are a dead giveaway for clickbait. Hurts is a fine QB, but imagine if ours fumbled in the Super Bowl and lost by 3.

ESPN still believes the Cowboys are gonna run the same offense they ran last season except run the ball more. You can tell they did not come to the Cowboys training camp. They actually think the Cowboys are going to treat Pollard like Zeke.

I follow local journalists because of how out of touch these cheese bags are.

I'd be scared to try to draft another guy who hasn't won crap like our guy now. I gotta get off here, my stomach is hurting just thinking about it.

If people think Dak is going to throw 15 interceptions again and be the starter ..... I suppose it's possible, but it wouldn't be good.

There will be no competition.

Lance will sit for two seasons (2023 & 2024), back up Dak for a season when Rush leaves (2025), Dak will retire, Trey will start in 2026. Trey will be 26, the same age as Tony Romo when he started his first game.

Dak is UFA in 2025.

Also, Dallas has an out in 2024.

Trey Lance is at least two years away from competing with Dak for the starting job.
Dak is not scared in the least.

They will extend Dak through 2025. Any idea of Trey starting before then is a pipedream. He won't be ready.

Many players considered a "project" that needed development failed because management was too impatient. Parcells taught them how to do it right, he is one of only two coaches since 1970 who developed actual starting QB's that didn't throw a single pass their first two seasons. He did that first with Hostetler and then with Romo.

The other HC was Tom Landry who did it with Hogeboom.

Lance already has two years of development with that genius HC in SanFran.

He just needs to learn our playbook and get reps with the 1s.

Give it about 8 weeks.

The kid is gifted with talent.

If they like where Lance is, no way they cut Dak another check for mega millions.

That was some bad football...hope he don't get a brain fart like that again.
If we are going there it wasn't just a fart, extreme diarrhea as well.
Stay hydrated this year Dak, lots of water.
