The huge Conundrum

There needs to be some evidence presented. If evidence is presented, and Elliott did in fact commit a crime, then banish him now. Fine. Giving Elliott a 6 game suspension for DV is like 1st and goal at the 1 inch line. A TD is inevitable, much like a banishment is inevitable for someone with a pattern of terrible decisions.

But as it stands today, no punishment is warranted. It baffles me that people trust the NFL to say, Elliott is suspended for 6 games, just trust us on the evidence that we won't produce.

It's not a court. I don't need to see a video of him physically beating her much like I didn't need to see a video of Hardy beating his girlfriend. My sister in law once got a black eye from her piece of **** boyfriend. She said that he accidentally elbowed her but I had my own judgement on the situation. Years later after they split the truth came out.

I thought about that but they suspended the face of the league and it didn't really generate more interest. I just think that the big thing last season was the election. It was the biggest presidential election in our countries history.

If you would bother to google it you will find lots of articles using stats and numbers that show that while the Election was a factor, it was not the biggest one.

once again you dodge hard questions. Because you have no answers to why many figure this suspension IS BS.

She LIED. NOW answer WHY anyone should believe her?

Like I said before I am not some crazed fan that will neglect things just for the sake of it. I am open minded and believe that something happened. You look up to the sky and whistle and believe nothing happened. Live your life that way if you want it usually works out better for most anyway.

First of all, let me say this. I agree with your morals, more than you could possible imagine. Our oldest daughter was a victim of domestic violence. She is now divorced and raising two young children on her own, with some help from her Mother and myself. I know how we felt when we discovered her husband was hitting her. Only by the grace of God am I not in jail for murder. I have never wanted to kill another human being before, but I had violence in my heart towards her husband. I have zero tolerance towards that nonsense. Having said that....

I think the NFL has went completely overboard against Elliot. There is no substantial proof that he is guilty of anything except keeping the wrong company. There is every bit of evidence that says the woman was actively seeking to harm Elliot and his career. If he was/is guilty, then throw the book at him. I just fail to see how the NFL can justify doing so when the proof did not exist. I think they have overreacted because of the stigma about domestic violence.

Good post. I know women who have suffered domestic violence, and I was in a domestic violence situation myself as I was in a relationship with a woman who hit me and scratched me.

So I'm no Cowboys apologist. But based on what I've read, it appears the NFL has found Elliott "guilty" without any direct proof and despite testimony against the victim.

I have been a strong supporter of Goodell, but my support of him is cooling, not just because the running back from my favorite got suspended but because the ruling just doesn't appear to be fair.

And I clearly have more common sense then believe a known liar like you do.

This smells of

"We need to prove him guilty of something so your orders are to find anything we can use in any way. Ignore anything that contradicts that."

Guess what? Ratings were down the previous year as well. Keep dancing; it is amusing.
Not dancing, just asking a simple question. I said that your theory is possible but I still don't see it that way. Less people tune in to see the Pats without Brady just like less will tune in to see the cowboys without Elliott. The Cowboys winning is more money to the NFL than the Cowboys losing.

Just shows that you don't. "She lied once, everything else is false, case closed.....Zeke is innocent, next!"

The NFL sees is a little different after over a years investigation. There seems to be a little guilt even in Zekes statement so I could judge people pretty good.

So your sister was a victim and you figured it out with direct personal knowledge so of course Zeke must be guilty. Seems like a reasonable rationale

No, I actually trust the findings of a year long investigation to give us at least some truth to the situation. If it was a 1-2 game suspension I would understand the outrage and maybe he didn't even lay a hand on her but for them to come out and give the full 6 games suspension they found at least something. Hey a lot of people yourself included are in denial and thats ok. It's a little bit of the not my kid syndrome. It's the crowd he hangs out with and that's ok because I knew I was in the minority going into this.

The league shouldn't investigate any of these cases. It's not their job. Let the judicial system handle it and focus on football.

It's pandering. That's all it is. It's why October has turned into one long telethon for women's cancer.

The judicial system should be the first recourse. Then if there is some additional overwhelming evidence (e.g. the Ray Rice video), then they should get involved.

So now we just have the two hugest conspiracies.......more so than 9/11, Pearl Harbor, OKC bombing, Gaddoffi ect.....only problem is the ones I mention there are know facts to those conspiracies. Why would the NFL suspend the face of the NFL in Tom Brady if it had nothing on him? Why would the NFL suspend it's newest star, league leading rusher and top jersey sales in Zeke if it has nothing on him? Need some proof here as to why.

This compares alone tells me all I need to know. I am seriously thinking of putting you on ignore for this alone. How in the heck can you bring in the loss of thousands of lives into this as a discussion. Pathetic, just PATHETIC!!!

Bet you wouldn't say that if I was a woman.

#HerTruth, bro.

Now take her purse to the Doctor. It's time for your yearly physical.

You prove me correct. I could almost guarantee that if your over the age of 30 that you are divorced.
