No, I actually trust the findings of a year long investigation to give us at least some truth to the situation. If it was a 1-2 game suspension I would understand the outrage and maybe he didn't even lay a hand on her but for them to come out and give the full 6 games suspension they found at least something. Hey a lot of people yourself included are in denial and thats ok. It's a little bit of the not my kid syndrome. It's the crowd he hangs out with and that's ok because I knew I was in the minority going into this.

Like I said before I am not some crazed fan that will neglect things just for the sake of it. I am open minded and believe that something happened. You look up to the sky and whistle and believe nothing happened. Live your life that way if you want it usually works out better for most anyway.

Seems to me you're the one looking into the sky whistling with your sense of entitlement that you and your opinion alone are correct regardless of the evidence presented. If he did it, as she stated, he got off lightly. If she is lying to ruin his career, well, we have evidence that she has a motive to do just that and had been found lying about an instance to try and do just that. Sorry if some people base their opinions on data and the evidence presented instead of trying to extrapolate possibilities.

They should seldom get involved and it needs to be very clear and convincing evidence. But the NFL has no business conducting it's own investigation in most of these cases. Half the time it can't even interpret it's own video replay evidence correctly, so how are they credible in making these judgments on areas outside their expertise.

I'm mainly a lurker and only post when I get very passionate about stuff going on with the Cowboys. I will say you are one of the most aggravating posters here.. sometimes I want to reach through the screen and shake you.. then on the flip side you make some of the most articulated and well thought out posts. I'm sure you're not alone in your sentiment..... which is exactly why, if indeed there's no hard evidence to substantiate the suspension, Elliot and (possibly Jerry) needs to sue the hell out of the NFL. You're making the case for him/them being damaged. Think about it, if less people want to watch him and/or the Cowboys or buy their merchandise, they've been damaged. If there's no proof, I think he and the Cowboys have a strong case.

Guy meets girl both have feelings for one another. Both young and stupid, both haven't been through many relationships so there is an attachment there.
Guy and girl start to argue. Sometimes the guy can get a little rough especially when the girl runs her mouth. Sometimes things get even more out of hand when drugs and alcohol are involved. Sometimes it gets ugly.
Girl has strong feelings for guy even if being a little physically abused and can look past it especially when so young. Especially if they are still together. Girl puts it off.
It happens again the next day and girl starts thinking guy might not stay with her. Girl starts taking pictures but still holds out hope guy will stay with her.
Guy has bright future and girl does love him and would love the easy life. Girl puts it on the back burner but starts to record instances in case guy leaves girl would like some $$.
Guy gets back to hanging out with his buddies and on his birthday he brushes of his girl for his buddies. Girl starts getting crazy due to rejection and sees that guy isn't going to be in her long term future.
Girl calls cops asks girlfriend to lie for her saying that he abused her because she has been abused prior figures its not really a lie.
Now girl has one lie on her record and now cowboys zone supporters don't believe anything girl says about guy but after a year investigation the NFL believes a lot more about what girl says than what guy says and for NFL to suspend guy for 6 games there must be some type of evidence that girl has provided.

The only incidents considered by the NFL were on the 17th, 19th, and 22nd. You are ignorance is on notice.

Take a breath... Opinions vary widely on this board. Shouting at the top of your lungs will not alter alternative viewpoints. I too thought Hardy was an abomination but, Jerry still broke his piggy bank
to bring him in despite. You made a salient point and Zeke will get his day in court as all Americans should. I think the young man did make some mistakes and he will likely have to serve a smaller
suspension which hopefully will smarten him up. Let the case wind forward for awhile and simmer down. You will never really win many arguments on this board for sure.
