Meh, they could have told him he was getting demoted on Tuesday before announcing it publicly. BTW, didn't Jerry mouth off to the media that McFadden should start a day before the announcement was made by Garrett?

This guy's upside is solid and I'd love to have him running behind this line. I have no doubt that he could have gained 200yds against that NYG defense the way the Oline was blocking.

Hopefully it means the Oline is clicking, but it's likely that it was just NYG not playing well. They gave up 124yds to SF, then 158yds to PHI, before giving up 233yds to DAL. that's an avg of 171.6yds/game over their last 3 games.

But *IF* the Oline is clicking, Randle needs to shut up and do whatever he can to get on and stay on the playing field.

His injury got him benched. Period. He had 2 carries for 24 yards before getting injured.

I swear, some of you act like Randle stole your girlfriend or something.

well i all fairness, her underwear was at risk...

JG said today it was because he had personal stuff to attend to. Doesn't sound like the NFL deal. Somethings up, and I don't really care.

Personal stuff? Like underwear and cologne endorsements?

Or maybe he got a ticket on the Hambrick Express.

Fishers says it was Tuesday when Randle departed the team facility.

It appears that it was in response to the suspension news, not being demoted.

An unconfirmed report indicated that Randle was meeting with "someone" when he departed. My guess would be that he was meeting with his Lawyer.

It appears that it was Wednesday when Garrett said that McFadden would be the starter. If true and Randle departed on Tuesday then it would seem to confirm that it was related to the suspension not the demotion.

Also for anyone that is not up to date, the suspension is from the incident that happened over 8 months ago, not something that he did recently.

This seems like another reporting situation similar to:

There is a video of Dez.

Greg Hardy shoved the ST coach (The ST coach actually shoved Hardy for anyone that has not seen the video).

Good reporters don't let facts get in the way of good reporting.

The information super highway.......be the first to get it out.

Truth be damned!!

It's pitiful...........we're being sucked into a vortex of completely useless information and/or a bag of lies and half-truths.

Choose your poison.

The articles I've read about Randle said McFadden was starting the Seattle game, not that he was taking over as number one RB. But, Garrett seemed to suggest in his press conference that was what was happening. Also, it seems logical that Randle would be upset for the NFL to pop up after all of this time while he's injured and talk about suspending him. I'm not sure how he could question McFadden starting after the show he put on Sunday, but it isn't really clear that is the case anyway. I mean, Randle isn't playing, so someone else has to start. He just needs to chill and get healthy because we still have 10 games to play, and there are plenty of carries to go around.

But he did leave the facility unannounced?

The media said last week that Hardy didn't show up and didn't call in. That was proven to be false. In reality the media guy saw and Hardy would on the injury report as ill, figured out he didn't come to the facility those days and made up the story.

in his presser the hc said he was excused yesterday and this morning and would not play because of injury and said it was personal matter not related to the nfl suspension talk.
