How can the league randomly decide it's going to punish a player in October for an incident that happened in February? The timing is super-suspect.

So we have the injury, the demotion, the suspension and the Ratliff situation. Anything esle?

They have to blame this on GHardy somehow.

The Ratliff things keeps coming up

Unless I missed something I don't follow the connection

Just refuse access and interviews to anyone who mis reported or got the facts wrong without a major apology in the headlines.

You're talking about a team owned and coached by JJ

I can't stand this modern day TMZ type of sports reporting that we're saturated with during football season.

It's like a soap opera.

All of these "reporters" are worried strictly about clicks and Twitter followers, nothing else.

It's so weak.

Anymore I honestly only look at a couple of websites and ignore most pre and post game shows entirely.

Fishers says it was Tuesday when Randle departed the team facility.

It appears that it was in response to the suspension news, not being demoted.

An unconfirmed report indicated that Randle was meeting with "someone" when he departed. My guess would be that he was meeting with his Lawyer.

It appears that it was Wednesday when Garrett said that McFadden would be the starter. If true and Randle departed on Tuesday then it would seem to confirm that it was related to the suspension not the demotion.

Also for anyone that is not up to date, the suspension is from the incident that happened over 8 months ago, not something that he did recently.

This seems like another reporting situation similar to:

There is a video of Dez.

Greg Hardy shoved the ST coach (The ST coach actually shoved Hardy for anyone that has not seen the video).

I'd say speculative reporting rather than false reporting is more accurate.

I'd say speculative reporting rather than false reporting is more accurate.

If I said "The stock market is going to crash" and it actually crashed, I would still have been making a false report because I had no information to validate my claims. The fact that my false report just happened to come true does not make it a valid report.

Speculative = Guess

Did anyone else see the wonderful Sportscenter graphic showing where we had the most suspended players over the last 18 months or some odd period of time?
It listed Hardy as one of our players even though he wasn't on the team when his infraction occurred.

I didn't get a chance to pay attention fully but they really played up the Dallas is full of a bunch of criminals and terrible people angle. Ran by a bunch of enablers

I'm not an ESPN hater and always wondered why so many on here didn't like it, but I'm starting to wonder if there really is some sort of agenda against the Cowboys.

They asked Jerry about McFadden and he said he deserves to start.

And when the owner says someone deserves to start, that means that person is going to start. Powerful people don't just make suggestions. ;)

Let me get this straight.

So if a Dallas Cowboy leaves the VR campus to get a samich, it will be assumed he is awol and the rumors will automatically begin flying with the worst possible suspicions?

If you want a nice synopsis (and I can't stand the guy), listen to Ted Cruz' comments about the media from last night.

The same sentiment could be applied here.

Not saying this story is true, but I'm sure Randle would have been told well before it was announced to the media.

David Moore is obviously a journalistic hack who makes assumptions rather than bothering to do what journalists are supposed to do-base his article on facts.

I'm a bit sick of Randle but suspending a guy 8 months later for something he wasn't convicted of is just wrong to me
