Jerry is gonna stay in his hole for a few more days. He's banking on the criticism of McCarthy and Dak to die down, then he'll pop up this weekend or early next week, talk about his disappointment but how he's confident he has the right guys in place. Probably also hoping Quinn gets a gig somewhere so he doesn't have to fire him.

Jerry is nothing but predictable.

I think there's a greater chance that Jerry trades for Kelce just so he can have Taylor Swift at the games than the chance he fires McCarthy. Because "relevance" and star power matter.

MM wasn’t on anyone’s list last go around. No one was trying to hire Garrett, Wade or Campo either.

Jerry doesn’t go after the highly sought after coaches because he doesn’t want to. They require normal power and authority of a HC and Jerry isn’t having any of that.

Anyone else thinking the same? If we were going to fire McCarthy I would think the news would of came out today. The longer we wait the more I think McCarthy stays. Unless Jerry doesn't want to fire him on this holiday?

I remember when everyone went overboard with this kind of philosophy on Jason Garrett and he end up getting fired he hung around and hung around and hung around they finally fired him the problem is I'd like a decision by Friday because we don't want all the top five on our list to be gone by Friday so I hope Jerry makes a decision one way or the other by Friday so we have a better shot at getting some of the top names but don't say the likelihood of him staying just because nothing's been done yet they have to do closeout interviews this is what Jason Garrett had to do they literally have team meetings that they make individual meetings with coaches and then they have to pack things and get paperwork together and then they sign other people to the futures contracts and then they can handle some of the other business at hand but Mike McCarthy still has some things to finish up as well as some of the other coaching staff with Jerry and everyone else...

It has only been 24 hours. Most of all you have to remember, Jerry never thought he would be in this position. He is probably still too stunned to think straight yet. He never thought they would lose. He never thought they would get blown out. I can see how it would take a couple of days to think this all out. There were plenty of big decisions to be made in the off season. Suddenly the biggest one of them all came out of nowhere completely unexpectedly.

They forget back in 2020 this happened with Jason Garrett he stayed around a very long time but they don't realize there's a lot to do between the coaches and players and front office exit interviews and futures contracts there's things to get done I imagine something if something's gonna happen it will happen by Friday around Friday... There's just too much to do I'm sure they're thinking about it I'm sure it's on his mind but they're not gonna make that quick a decision but I hope sometime around Friday they start getting more serious about it... But I do remember everyone around here said the same exact thing about Jason Garrett not being let go because he hang around too long after the end of the season but that never happened he got fired...

I think it really depends on how much Johnny Walker Jerry is drinking

actually it might be simple as JJ wanting to know there is someone out there he can accept before he gives MM the chop.
I think its much more likely DQ is gone since he has interviews and so on and Jerry can more easily let him go

Doubt it. There's no precedent for Jerry getting rid of his HC buds quickly. Some coordinator will take the axe. Kellen Moore took it last year and now it's going to be Dan Quinn
