It took a week to fire Garrett! I didn’t expect it quickly

Doubt it. There's no precedent for Jerry getting rid of his HC buds quickly. Some coordinator will take the axe. Kellen Moore took it last year and now it's going to be Dan Quinn
I will say though when I reporter put Jerry on the spot Sunday about keeping a coach like Garrett around he admitted that didn’t work and it’s something he thinks about now!

He will be back after Jerry talks to his accountant on the money he made.

I 100% believe MM will be back and I don't think BB is really in play.

However, I acknowledge that if somehow he was in play then we wouldn't get our answer for a few more weeks. It makes more sense for BB to hold off to see what his options are. (Assuming he doesn't get offered the Chargers job early on)

The most likely scenario for us is that DQ takes a job instead of getting "fired" and we roll with MM again.

I'm too old, too cynical and too embedded with this ownership to expect anything other than the status quo. If i were a betting man which I am I'd back MM back, DQ somewhere else and Dak extended for 5 years around 60m but with a get out after three. I'd like to see none of these as I'm pretty sure we don't win a SB under this scenario and would prefer at least the hope of proper success with a new Coach and drafted QB but I'm not going to get that. If only we had an imaginative GM.
I'll never not stop supporting this great t franchise especially after seeing my first game as a clueless Englishman in Texas Stadium 41 years ago. So I'll just keeping backing this hopeless ship of fools each year at the bookies and hoping luck more than judgement wins the day.

MM was having sleep overs with Jerry.................he aint going anywhere.

Quinn will take a HC job and thus all the blame will be put on him. The mantra will be "we scored 32 points, but gave up 48 so it was the defense that lost the game and not the offense".

Dak will of course get a new extension to lower his cap number.

And thats it folks, a new DC is all the change we are going to get....................so, who is pumped for the 2024 season:flagwave::flagwave::flagwave::flagwave::flagwave::flagwave::flagwave:

Who do you think Jerry would hire?
MM wasn’t on anyone’s list last go around. No one was trying to hire Garrett, Wade or Campo either.

Jerry doesn’t go after the highly sought after coaches because he doesn’t want to. They require normal power and authority of a HC and Jerry isn’t having any of that.
I agree with you.. but to be fair.. Garrett was one of the hottest commodities going round at the time.

Was a few teams that lucked out by not getting him.

Belichick will be signed the day after the 49ers destroy the Packers.
Teams can’t sign a new head coach until after the divisional round, unless there was a succession plan in place and the contract was on file with the league office, as the Patriots did. So, yeah, this Monday. BB, Harbaugh, and probably Vrabel, will be gainfully employed this Monday.
