The atmosphere is half the size of the sun. The comet itself is estimated to be only a few miles across.

So does it's atmosphere contain debris or just gasses? The title itself is misleading by making that same claim in regards to its size..

It's atmosphere, which I would assume is almost, if not completely gases. I imagine any debris would be minute enough to burn up in our atmosphere, should any of it somehow make it here.
