You know...I would really like to see the application that you filled out to be a mod. Also, just how much does Reality pay? I could use a part time job.

And, just one more thing. It was a catch, ******!

Very truthful post for which I applaud. Apparently you missed the humor, although I didn't think my statement was near as crazy as many of the 75 pages of posts on 4 different threads. Sometime its better to step off.

I still have zero idea what the hell you're talking about.

iceberg, knowing justbob, you would have no idea what he does for a living. And it would not be fun for me or for hundreds of us posters.

The evidence log lists photos of bruises to the throat. Just saying.

Doesn't mean anything one way or the other.

1. I applaud your post.....Very truthful.
2. There have been 4 or 5 threads full of the Hardy discussion. Over 80 some odd pages of the same posts ,by the same people in different threads.
3. There reaches a point where ,if you don't know what you are talking about (or do not have the experience to interpret evidence) you should simply say I wish I knew.
4. Using this thread to push an agenda not accepted. There becomes a point you are pushing your agenda here or on other forums to to have your say. Its counterproductive to the zone. And so is simply posting to argue.

My original post and this post are not pointed towards anyone in particular, but in the ridiculous point these threads have reached

Pushing an agenda, just posting to argue...

Sounds like a day in the life of the zone to me.

It is --but once you get into a actually case and something as important as DV and a mans (or womans reputation) it has it limits . Especially after 80 plus pages of continuous or baloney or a layman interpretation of evidence. Evidence that can not be read on the internet and be properly analyzed. Again ---I wish I knew what happened.

People getting overly emotional likely, and unfortunately, have personal experience to deal with as well. But as for kicking the ever lovin holy fish carp will it ever die or people realize they simply cant say anything new yet the insanity rrages on, again, each off season there are a few.

So far, so good, man. Look forward to Part 2.

I have read all Hos' arguments, and they are superficially persuasive. I will be interested in part two to see if he offers any of the other side.

Questions I have yet to see answered are:

What was his manager doing there? Did he arrive before Holder, or after? Did Hardy call him?

There were injuries photographed, including neck bruises. Why do people continue to say there were no injuries?

There were guns of the futon, as she alleged. Why isn't this taken as corroboration?

If he is innocent, why did he pay the settlement, which is a tacit admission of guilt? I would like to see the conditions of the settlement, but that is unlikely. I just think it is hypocritical to have paid her off and then play the falsely accused.

What was the statement Hardy gave to police that night? Since he will never be cross examined, how does it match up to what those playing detective for the defense have said?

How long had he supported her before breaking up with her?

After breaking up with her, why did he continue to have sexual relations with her? Wouldn't that lead Holder to believe that she was entitled to continued support? Like rent?

Why isn't it discussed that the number one defense in violence against women is to discredit the victim? I would speculate that both sides are equally guilty and equally embellishing, but we still have to consider the go to tactic of slandering the victim in hopes of discrediting her testimony. Doesn't anyone belief that to be possible in this case?
I admit, I have a propensity to side with the alleged victim in these circumstances. I have seen too many cases where the woman is abused by the man, then abused by his lawyers. For every Duke Lacrosse, the are dozens of O.J.s, or a Kobes, or Roethlisbergers that uses their fame and fortune to avoid responsibility for their actions. I admit I am biased toward the victim. I have seen a lot of folks shift opinion from before and after the signing. Everyone needs to stop, take a look at the issue of domestic violence in this country and how it gets handled by the press and society. If Greg Hardy was a mechanic or a software engineer, he would probably be in jail. Is he getting consideration because he is an NFL player?

I think he has paid enough. Not playing last year, even though he was paid, cost him a lot of money in free agency. I imagine he spent a lot buying Holder's silence. He has a long way to go to make up what he has lost. But he needs to win the respect of his critics, and needs to be a little more humble.

Right now I dont even give a damn about my apathy.

Poor you!

You want to know what I am about to have go through? When my son get home, he wants to start a build on a gaming PC system. He has all the parts and the motherboard just arrived. He thinks he is just going to assemble all that tonight! lol What I am going to have to put up with is, his frustrations when he does the install. Drivers and stuff...lol I hope he knows he cannot build this in one night.

You could read the previous post instead. Lotsa new food for thought.

But that's never how these things go. So even though they're "broken up," he keeps hitting it, because the sex is probably phenomenal. She gets a little drunk one night, maybe peeks at his phone and sees the nakie pics from the new girl on the block. Oh hell naw. Thus the incident.

Without knowing more about your speculation (wink) it would certainly seem to fit the pattern. In the Twitter recap of journalists attending the Bench Trial Hardy's friend/manager testified that when they went to a bar before the incident, Holder told Hardy he had to pay her rent and it had to be that night. Aparentely Hardy blew her off.

They also asked Hardy on the stand if he picked up the check that night for $1000 and he said something to the effect that he always picks up the check for his friends. What you are saying would certainly seem to fit with the pattern.
