I'm really going to go OFF and let him have it.
Laced throughout this forum, you can't escape it.
It's the easy target, chicken-crap, no courage, no thinking, scapegoat thing to say.
"Oh, Dallas didn't live up to expectations? Get rid of T.O."
"Oh, the slightest thing wrong? Get rid of T.O."
"Traffic light out in Fort Worth? Get rid of T.O."
"Hurricane passes through Texas? Get rid of T.O."

It's what all the idiot pundits and T.V. talking heads resort to anytime there's a hangnail or nose bleed in Dallas. "Get rid of T.O." The same yappers who so many of you despise for their anti-Dallas sentiments. It takes NO courage to "blame T.O.", because it's safe and you know that nobody will challenge you. It's like telling jokes about white, Christian males, because you know that no one will challenge you on it because it's the "in vogue" and acceptable thing to do.

The only sin T.O. has committed in Dallas is maybe, only because he wants to win so much, that he airs out his thinking in public. But even THAT has been minimal. His reputation precedes him, so he's got to bear the brunt of that. Even though he was right about everything he said in Philly, his way of going about it ruffled alot of feathers.
He's never committed a crime. Never been suspended (by the league) for anything. Stays in maximum shape year round. And wants to win so badly that maybe his mouth runs before his brain realizes it's moving.
If this team had another 40 T.O.'s on it, we wouldn't be in this position.
This team has three major problems, and T.O. isn't one of them.
Jerry Jones meddling and domineering.
Bad and uninspired coaching (see "Jerry's meddling above) resulting in undisciplined and stupid play.
And finally, Romo needs to be "Holmgrenized".

That's it. Three things. T.O. is NOT the problem in Dallas, and I'm sick of hearing it.

T.O. brings too many distractions to this team and it's qb. jerry should cut ties with the attention drawers in tank, pacman and owens.

Jerry said himself he loves the attention..

Jerry is more concerned with selling the cowboys brand.

Not winning games.

i totally agree with you...i hate people saying its his fault....that hes to old but the guy can play it dont matter.....he didnt have dat much good number...why?? cause defenses figured him out and covered him....now yeah we got roy but defense knew dat romo and williams didnt have the cemistry coming in in week 6 or whatever.....romo wasnt healthy at that time either...now you go into the offseason and get confortable and your going to see T.O.'s numbers increase cause they are going to ave better plays and more confidence.....and thats wen all the fans are going to be like...yay go T.O. dam hypocrit people....LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM HES STAYING PUT WHERE HE IS...

He epitomizes the selfish, me-first attitude that is pervasive on this team.

Oh, he may work out in practice hard. But many times this season when things haven't been going the Cowboys way, there's T.O. on your TV screen telling us it aint his fault. He can only run the routes. He can't throw the passes to himself. Or, if they get me the ball, we will win. Or, the scheme isn't the right one.

T.O. is representative of a larger problem which, IMO, hampers the Cowboys. We aren't a team. We're a collection of individuals.

When no-name receivers in Miami are getting open, catching balls from a noodle-armed quarterback and contributing to 11 wins and our star-studded receiving corps and Hollywood quarterback can't muster but 9 wins, you know somethings wrong.

Funny how other teams in the league are able to thrive and win championships without the benefit of his services, yet somehow he's indispensable to Dallas. Yep, very funny indeed.

Didn't the Giants win a Super Bowl with a diva receiver? Just saying...

TO has kept the distractions to a minimum since he has worn the star, even under Parcells. Has he been perfect? No. But I am more concerned with some of the crap spewing out of Romo's mouth lately than TO's. Yet, half this board is hell bent on saving Romo from TO. I don't get it. Romo's laissez-faire attitude of late isn't coming from TO. Its closer to Tank Johnson's and its a direct reflection of the organizational culture at Valley Ranch.

Again, nothing original or proven or factual. Just parroting the lemming "lock step" talking points your being fed by the media.

Give me an instance, JUST ONE, where T.O. has done or said ANYTHING detrimental to this team that was outside his burning desire to win. I already gave you that his mouth perhaps "runneth over" his brain. But even then, why? Because he wants to win and is frustrated.
Who of you out there is not equally frustrated? Huh? Anyone out there satisfied with this debacle? This team needs more T.O.'s who lose sleep at night over this joke.
Unless your satisfied with what you've seen the last two years, you have no choice but to agree with the FEW TIME'S that Owens has voiced his frustrations.
Again, I'm waiting for the evidence..............show us when and where Terrell Owens has been out of line or has been a "team wrecker" or a locker room nightmare". I'm waiting..............

If we sent him packing and became a run oriented team with Austin as the #2 guy and Martellus Bennett getting more action in 2 TE sets with Witten I wouldn't hate it at all. Save the cap money.

If we keep him, I won't hate it either. I'm not the guy's biggest fan, but he wants to win and he's talented.
