WR's have always asked for the Ball....Harrison...Moss...Smith...etc always do.....having WR's go to their OC in private meetings is common in this league....happens all the time.......we hear about it more because Dallas is what sells in the media......just because it isnt front page news from ESPN doesnt prove it doesnt happen in the NFL.

We heard it for several weeks from the WR's......it took Romo the end of the year to admit the same thing...

Is Romo wrong too?

LOL!

Yes, they go privately.

Now tell me which of those above receivers had a one-on-one sit down interview with Deion Sanders to discuss PUBLICLY their desire to get the ball more.

That's what we're talking about here. If T.O. kept it private, that would be one thing. He does not. And that's the problem.

Didn't you find it amazing how New England handled Randy Moss in their difficult '08 season?

For those complaining about To and his dropped passes:

1 Braylon Edwards Cle 16
2 Dwayne Bowe KC 13
3 Brandon Marshall Den 11
4t Calvin Johnson Det 9
4t Terrell Owens Dal 9
4t Roddy White Atl 9

He's certainly not the worst. And considering the year Marshal was having, I'd say he would be in good company.

Thought I would fix it up for you.

Don't say anything and you won't have anything for ESPN to report.

Again, follow the conversation.

If T.O. would just shut his mouth and keep things privately, ESPN wouldn't have anything to report. But nnnoooooo. He has a one-on-one interview with Deion Sanders and blabs about not getting the ball. And ESPN picks up that information and runs with it.

He's up at the podium having press conferences with the media. He doesn't have to do that. Why doesn't he just answer questions in the locker room and keep his big mouth shut. Why can't he just say, "I am a team player and whatever the scheme is I'm going to do what I can to make it successful and make it work?"

And, then, if he has a problem with the scheme, go quietly to Garrett and discuss it?

But because he's T.O., and because he has to shoot his mouth off publicly, when ESPN via Ed Werder, finds out he's not happy with Romo throwing the ball to Witten, of course they're going to make it a big deal.

You know why?

BECAUSE T.O. HAS MADE IT A BIG DEAL PUBLICLY!!!!!

Don't get mad at the media for doing what it does. Get mad at T.O. because he keeps running his mouth.

Brilliant logic you're using here. They're also often able to do it without a Pro Bowl QB (Tony Romo) or Pro Bowl TE (Jason Witten) or a 20-sack DE/OLB (DeMarcus Ware). Cut da bums LOLZ ROFLMAO!!11!!!

Um, I was mocking the "If not ____ , then who else would you rather have?" mentality that runs rampant in this forum. The real question is, "Is he worth the trouble?" That's not a question that Romo, Witten, or Ware would find themselves on the wrong side of.

But that's a different issue altogether. It's not Owens' fault we signed him

True, that's Jerry's screwup.

and it's not Owens' fault that we're underachieving.

Sure it is. If you're dropping passes, giving up on routes, stabbing your QB in the back, and throwing tantrums on the sideline, then you're a big part of the problem.

He's one of the hardest workers and best players on the team...

I would hope so, considering how much we're paying him..

and if you don't think his #1 objective is to WIN you're simply not paying attention

Hi-larious. No, winning is incidental. His touches are the highest priority, as we found out after the Bengals game--a game that we won but still left him pouting like the narcissistic brat that he is.

We don't care if they drop the ball. They don't play for the Cowboys. ;)

Note the fact that the aforementioned wideouts are the best in the league.

See if T.O. is reading this (which I know he isn't), he would be all smiles, because we are debuting about him. That is what he likes, whether it is bad or good, as long as his name stay front and center. Him and Jerry are like two peas in pod, love attention.

In your opinion, if Jerry had to choose b/w keeping Garrett or TO this offseason, who do you think he'll keep?

To didn't go public with anything about Witten and Romo. Someone leaked something from the locker room and for all we know that wasn't true.

As for the Sanders Interview, what is wrong with him saying that he needs to be more involved with the offense? I think everyone believed that. And from what TO HAS said publicly I've heard him say that he would play within the scheme that they have. He never said anything publicly that would be tantamount to complaining other than saying he felt he needed to be involved more.

But it makes your point moot.

He didn't drop any passes that cost us the game.

blaming Owens for the culture of this team is just ********

unless people are suggesting that he goes around and poisons everyone's ears

No he didn't, but for what he gets paid to do and to be mention with the greats, he drops more then he should.

As like others on the team T.O. has his own issues that contributes to the teams non success.
