Appreciate your honest opinions.
With domestic abuse there is a cycle in which everything looks great, at first. After a while the abuser begins to become controlling and threatening. This advances to rage and violence like throwing or destroying objects. Finally, he loses it and becomes physically abusive against her.
This is followed by profound regret, attempts to make it up and promises of no future violence. This is followed by a "honeymoon" period in which he is a perfect gentleman.
However, it is not long before the cycle begins once again. Each cycle the violence gets worse and worse, the regret and honeymoon period is less.
Ultimately, if she continues ro stay, her life may be at risk.
I don't believe this is Zeke but I believe there is a steong possibity that she provoked him into losing his temper.
It was not really domestic abuse as much as an instinctive response to having a particular button pushed. She may even have gotten violent first.
She was not a victim, i think she was an instigator. Unfortunately there is now this blanket approach to label any physical confrontation as abuse.
I don't know, I wasn't there, its just a gut feeling. I. don't see Zeke as a compulsive abuser but has he ever displayed any level of outrage at the accusations?
