Everybody that follows football knows the asterisks are there, record book or no record book. Denial doesnt relieve your butthurt at all because no matter what you say about it being more enjoyable, you know, we know, and every NE fan knows that we ALL know they are tainted and tarnished and lack legitimacy - and that makes the butthurt to linger and linger for all time.
