I'm rooting for a team like the Lions. If not them, then a team like Buffalo who has never won as well.

I believe I will might never see a super bowl again for the Dallas Cowboys and I'm 49. I can't even imagine the Cowboys being in the super bowl hell I can't even imagine them being in an NFC championship game. This organization has sucked for so long you forget they were once a premier organization and an envy. Now they are just a punch line.

Clearly, the Cowboys will not be in the big game this year, so I thought it might be interesting to note the teams Cowboys fans would most want to see in the Super Bowl.

For me, in no particular order, based on their team histories, players and coaches I admire and current story lines, this post season I’ll be rooting for:
  • Minnesota Vikings…..appeared in 4 Super Bowls in the 70’s (1970, 1974, 1975, 1977), but never won.
  • Detroit Lions…..never appeared in a Super Bowl and perhaps the worst postseason record in league history (9-14), but they did win 4 NFL championships between 1935 and 1957, prior to the SB era.
  • Buffalo Bills…..appeared in 4 consecutive Super Bowls (1991, 1992, 1993, 1994), but never won.
Maybe surprising to some, but there are still 12 of 32 teams that have never won a Super Bowl - Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans.

What about you?

you make a good point plus cowboys fan need to be reminded there are far worse off teams than us.. the browns haven't won a division since 1989.... last i checked all those teams had regular GMS.normal owners and sometimes make far worse decisions. can you imagine not paying jamar chase , waiting and now owing him 40 million because "they waited" ?Now he might win the trple crwon and have his best season?? what would our fans say LOL dumbies shold have signed him 2 years ago?? at lease we got CD after h9s best season for 2nd wr money..didnt set a new market.. Chase will be out for blood..

I picked the Chiefs to 3peat almost a year ago. For the NFC, I think it will be the Vikings upsetting the Lions and the Eagles and getting in.

Buffalo vs Detroit.

Just because to me those are one of the last authentic teams. Hardnosed fundamental football. And coming short for so many years. Buffalo to me deserves a SB trophy.

Anyways i love Mahomes. So if KC makes it to the big show again i wouldnt mind. Burrows too, but sadly Cincy is out of competition this year.

I pretty much just watch and care about the cowboys.
It would be cool if the lions won it all.

Screw Detroit. I was fine with them until they cried about unsuccessfully circumventing the rules against us.

It took the Chiefs 50 years to get where they are now.
56 :)) add in 12 teams that have not won a Super Bowl yet 5 or 6 that have never even been to a Super Bowl yeah there are far worse than our little negative drought that we gotta keep talking about all the time.... When they're A-Team I don't remember if it was Boston or the Cubs something they had some kind of curse and it was like 100 years it took them to get back Can you imagine 100 years with No title and yet those fans still fill up the stadium week after week year after year and I wonder if they talk about narratives and bad ownership and how many G miss and coaches and players you think they went through over 100 years and it didn't work until year 100?? lol

Texas Rangers 1970-2023 Yep that's how long it took them...

This post can be used next year too.
The irony here is like 30 other teams can say the same thing isn't it odd that somehow the Cowboys are on an island when they don't make the Super bowl yearly even with droughts there have been longer droughts some teams have never even been to a Super Bowls some have never won a Super Bowl I mean shall I go on I mean these are meaningless pointless posts when somebody says something like this and by the way there's only one winner and typically it's been a dynasty lately only three teams since 1989 have won three or more Super Bowls that would be the Cowboys the patriots and now the chiefs all of them with one thing in common they all were dynasties and were beating everybody else so not many new ones..

I believe that's why this post was started we're talking about teams we would like to see in that maybe have not been in a good match up that doesn't affect the Cowboys but someone had to drop another useless post without actually answering any questions or providing the debate on what teams you might wanna see in there that's not gonna bother you as a Cowboys fan..

You’re right. As long as there are other sports franchises with a history of mismanagement Cowboys fans should not complain. Almost 30 years with no end in sight is comparatively good…when compared to the worst championship droughts is history. One thing the Cubs, the Rangers, the Red Sox, and the many NFL teams that have gone seemingly forever with no champions have in common. At some point they had all gone 29 seasons with no championship.

THE COWBOYS will never again see the ring because of the idiots in charge. not only that there knee jerk signing like a 4th for mingo when a 5th would have gotten him. signing a QB like the one from san fran and giving a 4th for him when after this year he will be gone what a bunch of morons. reminds me of Al Davis and steveie lying about money being short and big daddy all in and that meant you all buy my merch and seats that is his all in. If all you didn't buy his bs make him see and empty stadium and tell him we're all at the house that's all in
