You start Cassel and when we get beat 42-10, it opens it up to start Weeden the next week.

Doesn't matter who starts at QB next week, they're going to get trounced, may as well leave Weeden in there.

you got that right. this game has 51-13 written all over it. And not in Dallas' favor.

Weeden made a clutch throw to tie it on 4th down and hot Butler deep who busted his hammy similar to the video game Gameday 98 which stopped him from scoring.

Defense showed its youth with Wilson looking lost and more importantly Hitchens not communicating with him fast enough.... Tough loss, gotta move forward.

This should be a fun week.

At least it won't be so simple to whine about Weeden all week.

How about griping how our defense was subpar against a mediocre Saints team?

I think we see more of the injury excuse thing.

The injuries have reached such a crippling state that I'm more surprised we competed as well as we did, even against a poor New Orleans squad.

Defensively, we're awful. But we're also playing without our top two pass rushes and our top two linebackers. Some teams can offset those losses, but we lack the defensive talent to do so. I was hoping to field a middle-of-the-road defense with the likes of Lee, Hardy, Gregory and McClain in the fold.

What exactly does Cassell do that Weeden doesn't? They do the exact same things and calling for change for change sake is dumb.

That's not true... Cassell is different. He is better at finding the open receiver down field and much cooler under pressure. He throws the ball away rather than taking sacks. He would be a great change for the better.

Defense has sucked as well, they have some injury excuse but it's the experienced vets that are screwing up the most, not the young guys. No Gregory, no Hardy, lee goes out, I know Crawford went out some. Chruch continues to take horrible angles and miss tackles. Id roll with Jones and Wilcox at this point. Carr is terrible. Put Corey White out there, or at safety with Jones at corner. I'd rather lose with iunexperience over incompetence. At least with youngs guys they might improve.

What Cassel does that Weeden hasnt is at least win in this league.
Weeden hasnt won anything, he cant win games.
He has lost his last 10 starts.

Even if they are the same player, this team needs a spark right now and Weeden isnt giving it.
If its not Cassel then start Moore.
We arent winning any games with Weeden so we may as well try something else.

The division being so bad, we need to try something to try and get 2 wins until romo gets back.

The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
And thats what we are doing with Weeden.
Everything in this league starts with the QB.
Im not saying Cassel is the answer but we have to try something else or the season is gonna be over.

Im not ready to quit on this season from now.
If you are then you can keep Weeden in there and pile on the losses.
But im not ready to quit that easily.

We are awful defensively because the system requires talent.

It is not a system that will be able to sustain itself outside of optimal conditions.

That is just the simple reality and explains why we act like we are waiting to be rescued.

Bad thing is, I don't think Hardy or McClain make a ton of difference.

I will be honestly surprised if we win 1 game with Romo out. I think we are done. Defense is atrocious and weeden isnt bad but he's not great. Just a middle of the road qb. Gonna be a tough season to sit through. So disappointed right now. Only hope is the division keeps losing until Romo gets back.

Ten straight losses with Weeden as a starter.

Not sure where the path to success runs through him.

He has proven to be a born loser. It isn't his fault but he is out of his league. We are coaching scared with him in there and it shows. Funny how Randle got shown the bench but the rest of the turds didn't.

Your frustrations concerning Weeden great.

Please keep it within the guidelines

Please lord let tonight be the last time I have seen Weeden in a starting position for my beloved Cowboys. I don't ask for much. Just do me this favor.

Amen.

I thought Williams with his Irvin-like work ethic and Escobar and his catch radius would make a difference. Guess not.

I watched three balls that should have been picked off -- easy, straight-on, in-both-hands passes -- not turn into interceptions tonight. For us to have a good defensive night, just about each one of those has to get picked off. Twice the ball fell incomplete, and once the pick was wiped out because of penalty.

It's cliche, but we're not good enough to overcome missed opportunities like those.

Weeden locks onto recievers and cannot sustain drives. We need a more efficeint QB to help this D. I wish we had signed Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I think the Giants are going to win the division.

At this point if we lose every game but our division games I'll consider it a huge win. But yeah I honestly think we are done. I can't believe how many people are hurt. Our strength and conditioning coach should be fired

I have been one of the biggest Weeden critics but the guy made some long bombs and brought us back with a chance tonight.

I still think he is bad QB overall, he holds the ball too long and is indecisive, has trouble at times with reading the defense but at least he made some plays down field tonight.

The offense as a whole disappears for stretches in the second half, the OL has played inconsistent, the RB's are good for a few series only.

However, this week the defense has regressed from even last weeks debacle, they can not even compete with a gimpy Brees and crappy Saints team that TB even beat.

Sure they are undermanned, lost Lee early and all but boy do they SUCK! Nothing else to say.

Neither unit can carry the other and the suckage continues yet again 0-2.

If a miracle should occur and Weeden leads the team to a win over NE next week, he earns the removal of my signature next week!
