Weeden got us into overtime, but once there the offense didn't even get on the field. Hard to blame Weeden for that.
it's no wonder he has a losing streak. his pocket presence is really not good.
but this is another week of the defense not holding leads and not getting off the field.
I watched three balls that should have been picked off -- easy, straight-on, in-both-hands passes -- not turn into interceptions tonight. For us to have a good defensive night, just about each one of those has to get picked off. Twice the ball fell incomplete, and once the pick was wiped out because of penalty.
It's cliche, but we're not good enough to overcome missed opportunities like those.
I've been a supporter of his talent, but his idiocy is getting under my skin.
Dude has zero pocket presence.
We are awful defensively because the system requires talent.
It is not a system that will be able to sustain itself outside of optimal conditions.
That is just the simple reality and explains why we act like we are waiting to be rescued.
Bad thing is, I don't think Hardy or McClain make a ton of difference.
First sign of pressure he backpedals. He had a couple opportunities to step up into the pocket
This guy is a nut job, who can't see what is wrong with extending the ball in the air.
Yeah, we're going up against the champs next week, so we are going to have to do something different on offense. I don't think 20 points is going to do it.
Also, we could have won this game if our DBs could catch a ball that is thrown right to them. Hopefully they will work on that this week because we are unlikely to beat the Pats without getting turnovers.

If someone said his numbers thru two games are what they are now, everyone would say we should be 4-0
Weeden hasn't been a positive or a negative.. Cowboys coaches have totally nullified him with their gutless game plans.
