Not only did the offense's ineptitude lead to the defense being on the field so long, but so did the defense's ineptitude of allowing first downs at the Jaguars will. Our Oline performed marginally, and there were only a few incidences of run blocking effectively.

When I left the stadium some of the Jaguars players were quoted as telling the local sports show host that in the second half it seemed we didn't want to be there anymore, thus the Jags felt the rest of the second half was going to be a cakewalk.

From my vantage point it seemed the Jags in the second quarter started and were playing a little faster and with more intensity than we were. It never let up, until the waning moments of the game when we got a little life back.

That may be due to the heat and humidity. It took the defense a little while to be affected but it seemed to hit the offense full force and from the midway point of the 1st Q.

... the o-line had alot of difficulty towards the end of the game.

There was a couple of incidents with Flozell in the second half. First was the sack on Bledsoe where he didn't even get out of his stance until a full second after the lineman got going and second was his false start. Seem to be the focus issues again which have plagued him throughout his career.

He's a tough nut to understand. ADD or ADHD. I don't know for sure.

Last year Beldsoe was sacked 25 times in the last 5 games. Under those circumstances I can excuse any QBs play, Anyone.

Bledsoe was sacked twice today. Yeah, he had pressures too, but the bottom line is even with time he was failing to see open receivers, missing the one's he threw at, and tossed three picks.

I have never been critical of Bledsoe before, I thought he played well above expectqation last year, and fully understood that the disintegrated line last season did him in, because he's a guy who doesn't handle pressure that well.

BUt the pressure simply wasn't that bad today. He certainly didn't have a clean pocket like the Philly game last year, but it was good enough that most QBs in this league could have been effective.

He stunk, flat out. He was missing guys, he was uncharacteristically inaccurate, he made bad reads. I would love to make excuses for him but there aren't any. And his bad play left our defense on the field too long. Not that they set the world on fire (the CBs had a bad day too), but they tired as the game went along.

I really think it was a combo of not only Flo starting to get winded, when youre tired you make mistakes, but also we were playing from behind most of the second half and they knew we were more likely to pass.

He does have a tendency to jump but hopefully it was more of him being tired and less of him being jumpy.

...if it was a case of the weather and conditioning for Adams I would hope the coaches could see this and get him out of the special teams plays that need blocking. Punts, converts and field goals. For this game it would have allowed Adams to rest for at least 9 plays.

Who knows what his problems are, but we are now wedded to this guy for the year. He needs to perform consistently and more importantly at critical times.

Wuhhh??? Did you even watch the game? They blitzed quite a bit.

Yes I did, if you call that blitzing a lot, wait until Greg Williamson and the Skins come to town....

BP better be practicing for the blitz protection so we can avoid the misery we had last season in D.C.

the Skin's blitz isn't nearly as ferocious as the Jag's D is

I like the jags D-fense too, but I still have nightmares over last seasons meltdown against the skins...

If we think Bledsoe was bad today, Williamson seems to get in his head more then others....

Pass to loosen up the run....and Drew can't expect too much from the O-line cuz they are mediocre at best...
