This FO preached Status Quo and “Continuity” following the SF disaster.

No hiding from the fact this team is a markedly worse team 2 months later and no sign of the FO registering any urgency at all about the condition of the roster.

Hard to believe how badly this “12-5 contending team” has been managed so far this year.

The 26 year nightmare continues

Why would there ever be any urgency within the front office? Whose job is on the line?

This seems like one of the more confusing offseasons. They've literally done nothing to get better while clearly getting worse basically everywhere. I mean we're even letting go of our All-Pro punter.

Yah. Let’s be real…. We all knew “status quo” wasn’t good enough already. There were already big needs on the roster.

Now? We are literally cutting our own throats for 2022. Are they looking to “reload” for 2023? Maybe… but if this is in essence an “organic tank” job and a soft-rebuild, the core assumption that Dak is a franchise QB is the elephant in the room.

We will likely “reload” in 2023 only to do so again by parting ways with Dak’s contract in 2025 and starting the rebuild in earnest.

With the same “braintrust” calling the shots at that point as well. It is CRAZY bad to be a Cowboys fan right now lol

Unlike the rams or bucs, they didn’t “go after it”. They didn’t chase the champions. Instead they pretty much destroyed several key pieces because of their inability to close a deal or chase a deal

I can’t tell if this is because they are inept or they simply do not care about winning anymore

Yep.
Some keep propping up this 12 win accomplishment like it's some great feat while leaving out the ultimate outcome.
The exact same ones who blabber on about how great a year 37tds and 10 picks is while still not mentioning any of the truly important context

i don't get how so many are incapable of grasping anything beyond the surface level crap. The crap that doesn't matter and then when ya ask 'em a question that requires an answer specifically demonstrating flaws in their beliefs you get a personal insult or straw man response.

Oh well,
How did Swayze's Roadhouse Dalton character put it?

I vote for inept.
One guy has a job because his father owns the team.
The other because he owns the team.....
Would either of these 2 gentlemen get hired by another team based on their credentials???
That's a rhetorical question by the way

And unfortunately will continue as long as it's managed by amateurs.
