Like him or not, he is incredibly well respected and has been part of the organization basically his entire adult life.

I kinda like Jerry handling him with class personally, it’s not going to make a difference if it is today or in two weeks

Yeah it will and if thats the hold up...Garrett could just read his resignation letter and move along.

Jerry treat Jimmy and Parcells like crap. Both of these guys are proven winners. Garrett, the loser, gets special tender consideration. What a joke!

A theory on what might be happening and the possible reason for the delay. I've heard that Garrett was told he's not coming back as head coach, but that he has been offered a front office role if he wants one. I think the delay may be to give Garrett time to decide I feel he wants to accept the offer or to continue coaching elsewhere.

I still think it’s likely that Garrett is either gone or given one year since Zimmer and others have contracts that run out next year, but regardless, I don’t get why everyone thinks Jerry needed to do it today. The season ended yesterday, why should Jerry be in a rush just because that’s what some fans and the media want?

You never know. Jerry might have been planning on keeping him, and Garrett talked him into letting him go. Time will tell.

my moneys tomorrow in a presser around 10am..Jerry didnt want to share today as expected..he goes on his own day with more anticipation build up..

He canceled his radio show for tomorrow. I doubt if we hear anything before or after the New Years. This media hungry ####### will keep this going for a while. Count on it.

we support the star on the helmet, we dont have to buy gear, tickets, or help Jerry but no way most of us can stop being a Cowboy Fan, we will watch games and support the TEAM wearing the star on their helmets...

I think many people have mentioned this already but they'll announce his contract has run out and he wont be retained whenever it officially runs out. (Wednesday right?)

Jerry is going out of his way not to "fire" JG before then.
