It should be a lesson to NEVER hire anyone he has close family ties to ever again. It makes Jerry irrational (or should I say more irrational?) when making evaluations at the end of each season. It is also why you see Jerry make statements like the one in my signature and the one about "training Garrett" from 5-6 years ago. Jerry is looking at Garrett like we look at one of our own kids who just had a very bad game or is bad in a sport in general. We all tend to have rose colored glasses when looking at our own children when they fail and always find a bright side. From now on Jerry needs to only hire people for which he can make rational evaluations. Had that been the case with Garrett he would have been canned after the third 8-8 season.

Exactly.......that's why nepatism in the workplace rarely works.

I would be worried that Garrett is staying after tomorrow. I still feel Jerry wants the NFL spotlight all to himself tomorrow.

If it isn't tomorrow he won't be doing it until after New Years.
