Read the comments by people that have been Dallas fans for years, even generations, and you will see that even the die hard are about ready to be done with supporting this team as a result of Jerry Jones' antics.

Instead of giving fans hope of turning the page to get back to the winning years we are all stuck in purgatory because Jerry wants the theatrics.
As a fan of the Cowboys for the last 50 years, it has become embarrassing what this organization has become. Those three Super Bowls has the ruined Jerry and the Cowboys legacy has paid for it. It has become very hard to even remain as a casual fan with the this ongoing circus.

I've already kind of started distancing myself from this joke of a franchise. I play golf on Sundays, now. I haven't scheduled a single round around a Cowboys game this past season and I won't next year either. If Garrett is retained, I won't bother to even watch the games that wouldn't typically fall into my golf window. This past season (though frustrating as a die hard) was nowhere near as disappointing as it would have been if I would have wasted my Sundays watching this turd pile of an organization.

It will be obvious, if Garrett is retained as HC, that Jones and Co. have zero actual interest in winning. If they don't give a ****, why should I? I've been a fan since 81 and with all the hopes that were wrapped up in this squad this season, from an expectation standpoint, this might have been one of the most frustrating seasons I have ever witnessed. Doesn't seem to be a single team player on he roster. Just a bunch of individuals wearing the same laundry. If I had wasted all my Sundays this past season watching this crap, I'd be six feet from the edge right now. Thankfully I didn't. I got out and enjoyed myself, knocked 9 strokes off my handicap and had an absolute blast EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY.

I don't ever see myself not following the Cowboys (I'll still check in here once in a while) and I certainly won't root for another team but, I'm not scheduling another minute of my life around a Cowboys game again until they prove that they actually want to win. Keeping Garrett around would be a step in the opposite direction and and a slap in the face to the entire fan base. At that point, I'm (for the most part) checking out for a while.

I mentioned it before. If Garrett was retained, my heart would sink as I would lose pretty much all interest in the team. I know where this story goes with JG, 66% regular season failure, 34% first or second round playoff failure. I don't have time in life anymore to waste it on that. I took a photo of my newborn baby in a cowboys helmet a couple months back, it'd be heart breaking for me to not care about the team anymore.

Sell it to one of these new fans that Jerry is creating by telling us we will be at the Superbowl next year playing for a championship those suckers are a dime a dozen at least get some money back?
I think I posted this before on here but I actually ran into one at a Walmart who was an assistant manager supposedly with some brains and he told me he had we signed Antonio Bryant a long time ago we would have gone to the Superbowl???? I wanted to drop the mic on him so bad I just shook my head and walked away

LMAO I thought that I would come to the board and actually see what happened with Jerry and JG, and still no news? Wowwwww Jerry is reallyyyy trolling the fans. I feel sorry for anyone who spent money on this team. Come on Jerry fans deserve better than no news.

Just what front office job is this? Is Jerry going to give him Stephen's job or McClay's job? Just what job are you people talking about?
.

He will make up something. It could be Assistant to President of Scouting and Player Development who the hell knows.

Why the hell would he ever leave here? If given a front office spot he is here until he drops dead. If he coaches again he could be fired in a year.

Money, prestige, ego. Coach of the Giants would be big time. He'd take that in a nano second and he wouldn't have to put up with the Jerry and Stephen.
