If he extends Garrett even one year I hope everyone boycotts going to the games.

Let the stadium be filled with other team colors. Only way Jones would get the picture
JJ wouldn't care as long as the stadium is full, even though it would be opposing fans filling the seats. If the stadium were half empty and merchandise sales dropped sharply, then you might get his attention. I suppose there could be a line where fans are fed up en masse, but it ain't happening any time soon, IMO.

Read the comments by people that have been Dallas fans for years, even generations, and you will see that even the die hard are about ready to be done with supporting this team as a result of Jerry Jones' antics.

Instead of giving fans hope of turning the page to get back to the winning years we are all stuck in purgatory because Jerry wants the theatrics.
I'll believe it when I see it.

With a 3rd meeting now scheduled, I wonder if Jerry is letting Garrett make a pitch to keep his job and is essentially interviewing him.

I'm now starting to think that he's not leaving and it's now a question of the capacity in which he'll be staying. We know they won't be announcing anything tomorrow, so that brings us to Thursday. If JG were leaving the organization, it make sense that he would have been told no later than today so that he could begin looking at other opportunities. I said before that the longer this drags out, the greater the odds that he stays. Oh boy...
How do we know nothing will be announced tomorrow?

Jerrah would be thrilled. I'm convinced now that he's not a Cowboys fan for real.

That's what I feared this whole time.

Scapegoating literally the entire staff and asking Garrett to pitch his replacement coordinators.

How many times does this loser get to change OC and DC until Jerry realizes that he is the problem?

Fans are emotional when it comes to their team. I think what people say versus what they actually do are two different things. Sure, there'll be a relative few who walk away, but the Cowboys fanbase is composed of mostly diehards who will be right back onboard right around the time training camp opens. That's just the way it is.

I think iur mostly right, but what I find about myself is I get more disassociation syndrome each year as we keep using the potty in our own bed. I get to where I don't get as mad or happy as we win or lose. Mostly, because I always know where the train will stop. The track is too short for our train, or we have engineers that will drive it off the tracks.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm not nearly as invested as I used to be. Part of that just may be that I'm getting older and realize that there are more important things in life to worry about. However, I also know that I'm invested enough that I'll still be in front of the tube every Sunday afternoon at kickoff hoping for the best.

In the same boat here. Never have any good expectations for this team. Biggest clown show around. People used to hate the Cowboys, now when they see me wearing it the tell me they feel for me. Team is nothing more than a laughing stock and a punchline

Can you imagine putting Jason in the Front office somehow then having a new coach come in and go 12-4 with mostly the same team. That would expose Jason as the fraud that we know he is. Jason will be sabotaging everything from day 1, just like Wade, Callahan, Reeves and so on. Guy is a POS
