The official hang Bledsoe thread

Difference is...Romo just isn't the backup...He's supposed to be the Future.

Lets see the future now.

Right now I rather lose a close game with Romo than win a close game with Bledsoe. You just have to know, at some point in the season, where we really need to come through, that Bledsoe is going to ****in' blow it with his same old antics. We DON'T have time for a Veteran QB who makes rookie mistakes. We just don't. And he has learned all he is going to learn. He isn't going to change. This is what we got.

Hell, he'll automatically dismiss it tomorrow...
He said he didn't want to make that decision right now...I think he said something about emotion.

So you're suggesting we can't be 4-2 or 5-1 with Bledsoe as QB?

How do we arrange a bet?
Let's see where 5 wins in our first six come from.
home against the skins and the texans, should be 2.
at the titans, should be 3.
at philly? tossup.
home giants? toss up.

My name is Sitting Bull and I'm a Bledsoe backer...

It's been two years since my last derogatory remark about Bledsoe and this is my first post in a "hang Bledsoe" thread...*sigh*

I just can't keep doing this to myself and my family. I try to focus on the arm, the leadership, the stats. But I'm living a lie. Bledose is bad for my long-term health and I know I have to change...

I hit rock-bottom today, right after the last interception, when I flipped to the Cards/Niners game and caught myself daydreaming about the youth, mobility and pocket presence of Alex Smith- Alex Smith- who played five times better than Bledsoe even in a loss.

I used to think that Romo would kill us with mistakes if he were to be thrown into the fire. But now I realize that he couldn't possibly cough-up more untimely turnovers that Bledsoe, and his mobility and moxie would actually give us a better chance to win.

Someone else will can tighten the noose, but I'll volunteer to spook the horse...

Welcome brutha!

That sums it up nicely.

Don't worry. Winicki is knotting as we speak. :D

Change at quarterback?

Give me an opportunity to look at the tape and we'll see what we do. I'll have an answer for you tomorrow.

A glimmer of hope Bill?

Don't tease us...Just DO IT!

He got on the bandwagon just in time. Pretty soon there will be no more room.

He is not a Hall of Famer. He is what he has always been and that is a not so good QB.

Dallas will not win with Bledsoe at the helm.

What will it take for people to realize that Bledsoe will never lead this team anywhere. Seriously what will it take?

Today was a great example.

We have had this issue in DC for the past couple years now, but I still say you stick with Bledsoe, I mean it was one game, and he did look ok first quarter. At the same time you guys have to give the Jags some credit on D as well. Also the run game was not working too well. I mean I def agree with the points you guys have about him, but there are other aspects of the game that were lacking.

It is possible that Romo is worse than Bledsoe. He looks better right now because you aren't seeing him. Bledsoe should be the future, lock him up for another 5 right now while his stock is low.

We have a coach who plays ball control football...stresses playing mistake free football...stresses avoiding negative yardage...

And then he starts Testaverde and Bledsoe for three years. :bang2:

Well Barb our worst nightmare is upon us...

We called "it", you & I. We knew what was coming and tried to warn people before hand.

But no, they were enraptured by the 40,000 passing yards and the TD's.

They didn't know (or wouldn't accept) that we have perhaps the most flawed "big name" QB ever to play the game.

And I hope we don't have to blow the entire season because of this guy.

the irony of Drew's overall stupid play today is that it gets magnified by Lefty's performance that will likely go unmatched the rest of the year. The guy might be on the bench by week 8 and yet Tuna might still be hoping Drew stops making DUMB throw after DUMB throw. :(

I think he is just as disgusted as we are right now. Though the playcalls certainly didn't help us today, it was Bledsoe's play that KILLED us.

Now I like Bledsoe. I've always wanted to see him succeed. But enough is enough. His experience, sometimes awesome arm/accuracy, and leadership is NOT worth the negatives anymore. I mean hasn't that always been the question? Is he worth it? I don't think he is anymore. Sorry Drew.

I am officially a "Romosexual" (;) theogt).

Do any of the fans on this site support Bledsoe? I mean starting Romo at home would be nice compared to starting him on the road, but at the same time is it agaisnt your biggest rival. Alot could go wrong as well, and it is the beginning of the season, it is not like you guys are in a situation where all hell has broken loose.
