The only hope I have left is that my grandson who will be born in early October and raised to be a Cowboys fan will have the opportunity to see the Cowboys win a super bowl like I did.
There is a better than average chance he can outlive the Jones business model and team building of our beloved team.

We here on this board are just cheering for the laundry at this point are way too many Jones's in line to inherit this team that have been mentored in Jerry's business model that has proven after almost 3 decades we will never see another super bowl in our lifetime.

What are your thoughts anybody believe one of The offspring will sell the team at some point and give us a chance not that we'll be alive to see it.

I couldn't agree with you more. Almost 30 years of evidence is all anyone needs to know the road ahead is nothing more than another year for Jerry to play with his toy train regardless of how toxic his ownership has been on actually winning when it counts. Stephen is full of hubris like his pappy and so the only hope is Jones sells the team or the next Jones after Stephen is actually concerned with placing winning about other priorities.

I accepted the futility of Jerry playing head coach and GM every season and I know how this movie ends every season. Jerry's insistence on micromanaging this franchise to death is synonymous to him giving the finger to all Cowboys fans.

I'm afraid Stephen may be just as bad, and maybe worse, than his father Jerry. Unless Stephen can finally hire a GM and hold him accountable, I believe we will be getting Jerry 2.0.

Your post #56 sure sounds like someone who’s given up.

It’s a new team every year. New coaches, new players. Jerry nor Stephen are not on the field playing. The Cowboys will probably be one of the 3 youngest teams on opening day. Football is a young mans sport. That in and of itself portends hope for the season. Lots of reasons to have hope and to be optimistic. It sure beats your alternative, and many others here, coming here daily and saying there’s no hope as long as Jerry’s here and complaining about everything under the sun.
