Since I can't run anymore (bad knees via military), I started walking 3 miles a day. Did pretty good, lost about 35 lbs.

The idea is not to make them the center of your diet and don't eat the empty carbs/calories. (sugars etc) I eat lots of vegggies, learn meats, etc. But especially in the mornings I eat carbs. (mostly oatmeal)

What do you put in yours?
I usually drink a blueberry and banana smoothie with vanilla protein and oatmeal in it.
If I don't use protein i'll use yogurt and throw in some OJ.

Big thing is to fool yourself into "variety" make the salad with slightly different veggies/fruits or change the dressing ( again measuring everything is key)
When you pour cereal I have to measure because if you just pour it... the serving is immense.
After 3 weeks or so it is enough food...
Oh and try not to eat anything after 6:00pm
Got off my blood pressure meds and 1 of my diabetic meds, reduced the dosage on my colesterol in half and the dosage on another diabetes med from 45mg to 30mg...

nyc;3514472 said:Thats what I did two days ago. It is much easier, but did you notice any soreness afterwards? I felt it on the ball of my big toe. I suppose that is where my weight was landing. I had never did the ellipticals for an entire hour before then so I get it just never got that bad.

CATCH17;3515255 said:Thanks man.
Something with sodium is usually what I start craving.
Chips, cereal, popcorn, stuff like that. Beer too.
I just try and fight the urge until it's time to go to sleep and I never wake up with the hunger pains I had the night before.

Though I noticed most "how tos" about the ab wheel, don't show how to work the obliques with it. They just go straight forward and back in. One rep should be rolling out to the right, center, then left. Do that ten to 12 times is one set.
