The refs' "missed" fumble on Schultz changed the entire complexion of the game

Say what???? Did you watch it?

It is rather obvious from multiple angles he still has possession when ball came out. He has posession with one hand, but it is possession nonetheless. I guess I don't understand what makes that so difficult to see.

Seems like there are quite a few people here that desperately wish Schultz fumbled. Do people wish Dallas lost or something? I don't understand the agenda.

That's his schtick. He swears the refs favor the Cowboys even though the Cowboys are annually one of the two or three most penalized teams in the league and their opponents are ALSO among the least penalized teams when they play the Cowboys. You get used to it. Most of the time I just ignore it.. but sometimes it's fun to just call it out for what it is.. pure unadulterated trolling..

I watched it in 10 different angles....the ball was not fumbled. it was in process of becoming loose when his hand was being ripped. by NFL defintion that's not a fumble since technically he hasn't lost possession.

subsequently, why does all of this 11 pages of nothingness matter. he recovered the ball!!!!

Since people here like to contend that they just want a fairly called game I'm shocked that this play hasn't been talked about. With Indy already up 3-0 and the Cowboys driving for what would be their first score, Schultz clearly fumbles this ball that the refs, who you all say swallow their whistles, immediately blow a play dead that was a fumble and Indy had pounced on. @Blackrain told me to be vigilant about what the refs might be up to in this game and will you look at this? An egregious benefit to Dallas who were trailing and about to go down 10-0 if this had stood. With the Cowboys as notorious slow starters, pass-happy Moore probably would have abandoned the run and Air (Pick City) Prescott would have been front and center in the offense. This obvious intentional blown call kept that from happening. Matthew Stafford said it best about AT&T Stadium: "Home cookin'!"

I believe this call could have gone either way, but I do believe even his wrist or knee were down before the ball was out, but could have seen it called a fumble too. I can see why Colts fans might be annoyed by it.... However... I also believe we ended up with the ball as well. I personally don't think it changed anything, but I am a homer so who knows.

Here is the photo of the ball out. Schultz barely has one hand on the ball with the Colts player pouncing on it with 2 hands. The Colts player let go once the ref right there immediately blew his whistle vehemently saying Schultz was down. He clearly wasn't. Egregious non-call.

It doesn’t matter because there was no clear recovery. Even had they reviewed the call and ruled it a fumble, by rule they can’t award Indy the ball.

His knee and forearm is down before ball comes loose. Also Shultz got the ball back.

How anybody can think that was a fumble is looking for an agenda to push
Why did we rush to the line then in the standard snap before they challenge move? I had people arriving then so I honestly missed the play.

It was not a clear fumble. Seems like the knee was down before losing the ball.

No agenda. Glad cowboys won obviously. But team loyalty < reality. I saw the ball clearly it off his grip while knee still in air but to each his own.

You saw the truth, not what your brain told you to see as part of some ego self-preservation thing. Glad there's still a few of us out there.
