The Return Of Thurman's Thieves (Pic)

CigarCutter

I had a DT jersey back in the day.
It would be a bit small on me, but may fit my 5 year old. I may have to make a trip for the closet...

Its about bloody time we hire older Cowboys as coaches but Jerry doesn't like the older players so I highly doubt it will happen, Man DT was awesome, Does anyone out remember when he broke Harold Carmichaels catch streak, "he was a serious ball player I loved his intensity. Hire him Jerruah or I'm coming to your house to .........

If not an 70-80's Cowboy, why not one from the 90's heyday_Ken Norton Jr.

Dallas has an opening for a LB Coach, and Norton would bring intensity to the coaching staff. Norton also has experience coaching both 4-3 and 3-4 schemes. Being a USC coach is like coaching pro level talent.

I would LOVE to bring Thurman in to coach our DBs! He has proven success everywhere he has played and coached.

I love how Bates is the "token" white guy in the pic. :laugh2:

That backfield of Walls, Fellows, Thurman, & Downs was outstanding.

Although truly ahad hitten son of a gun who played far above his abilities

Bates was part of a secret player rooney rule:laugh2:

His individual nickname was Thurm The Germ, but I like the group nickname Thurman's Thieves better. Remember Charlie's Angels before Thurman's Thieves? What would be a good nickname for today's secondary? Roy's Boys? The TNew Crew? Henry's Hens? Hamlin's Hams?... Never mind. As you can see, I stink at this kind of thing.
