Roy frustrates me at time, but I was also frustrated when Henry fell down and let Amani Toomer score on a long TD run; I get frustrated when I see Ware do nothing but try to run around the OT and not get the type of consistent pressure I think he can get if he broadens his repertoire; I get frustrated when T.O. drops a pass or when Romo makes a pathetic throw.
Roy has become the whipping boy...he has flaws and coordinators have started to try and expose him, but he's still one of the best SS's in the NFL. There aren't many SS's who are great coverage guys...if there were, they'd be FS's who are more valuable.
Roy has allowed his mind to be weakened though...he's let the media or fans or both get into his head, and it affects the way he deals with the media and the way he deals with questions about being beaten on the field. A DB has to have a short memory and want another shot at making plays...Roy needs to forget all that crap and just play the game the way he knows how...perhaps this is his intention is switching back to #38. I hope he has a great year...it's way too early to give up on him, certainly when there is not a probowl SS waiting in the wings.
