So with Drew Brees the last 2 seasons with a great running game and great defense Sean cant get it done; what do you think he is going to do with Dak a good running game and a great defense?

Prior to those last two seasons he went 7-9 three straight years, all with Drew Brees at QB.

People are so eager to see someone other than JG even the definition of "great" coach gets watered down. I'm fine with a coaching change, but the Sean Payton obsession on this board is comical.

There is nearly a zero chance Payton would leave a great roster and/or they would let him go. Especially with how the Saints left the post season.

Im sorry folks but Cowboys fans are so illogical. Why would you want a coach that has more talent were he currently is and cant win it all? Of course all of this is click bait but still.

I truly don’t get this obsession / admiration ... this is way beyond grass is greener stuff.. I get it .. he is most likely better than Garrett ...I get it I too am tired of the process and this incredible drought .. but in my opinion .. Sean Payton is NOT the answer .. sure he might have an immediate impact .. but that impact may not be as positive as some of you believe .. he is just another flavor of Publix ice cream .. Garrett is like vanilla regular Publix ice cream after all these years and Payton is more of the Publix Premium Otter Paws flavor .. still vanilla ice cream but it’s a little nutty , with some twists mixed in ... its a flavor we’ve tried before but are so desperate for a change we think it’s different this time around and much better than the vanilla we have been suffering with for so long .. initially it could be .. but it’s still ice cream of the same label and basic profile .. .. I would personally love to truly upgrade our coaching .. I don’t pretend to know who to but I want a different flavor ... a different brand ... something really new...

But also note this doesn’t change who are owner or Mgmt is ... that’s the constant that isn’t changing

Drew Brees played in 1 wild card game in 5 seasons in SD and lost. LOL Payton is 8-6 in the playoffs went to 3 championship games 6 divisional round games and won a Super Bowl. What's comical are those who don't understand Payton was a key part of getting Brees to that next level that simply didn't exist before he got to NO..

I doubt Jerry would give up draft picks. The draft is something the Cowboys believe they do right and have to do right to manage the salary cap, they have already traded away their 1st round pick this year.

Yeah if they feel the way they do about free agency........how do you improve your team? Never traded draft picks. I'm against it.
