Don't worry, in today's economy someone will work up a Cliff Notes on the Cowboys and make a small fortune, here.

:) Did you know one only pounds on one side of a chicken breast. If both sides are pounded with a mallet, chicken then tends to fall apart...
Ever hear about cooking technique and ironic humor?

I present things in the degree of information for all things taking the time to explain. If you already truly know everything, then why do you then even bother with an intended and demeaning post?

Just get ready for a retest if you fail a test...I didn't first refer to a short coming on your assumption.

I taught Amor for the Army for the then Armor School. You? I was up for Drill Sergeant's Academy when Desert Storm came down.

Maybe you don't care what the truth really is...reproving false assumptions is a little more directed, then.
Thank you for your service. I didn't prepare for the retest. I planned on passing the first test. And did. I know what the truth is. Dallas settled for an average QB and paid him thrice his worth. They benched Romo when he should have started in the playoffs if or until he got hurt again. Jerry fired a once in a lifetime time scout, coach and recruiter. A model at that time could have won 5 rings with Troy. And BTW you still have to rebuild your street cred. You called out the best player on the team in Micah and said he needs to do more for this team to be successful and for him to get into some mythological tier you have set.

That sauce been simmering for quite some time. 8 years later under this QB, it definitely needs some more garlic.
Also there is a difference in activity with urgency and moving slowly. The cowboys style is moving very slowly. We are told we are a few pieces away and yet they act with no urgency. Season ends and they claim oh well Dak needed more weapons. The job of any front office is to field the team that has the best chance of winning.

No, your youth shows through. Thanks for taking time to exchange. Myself, coming out of high school, I was All State Band for 3 years, 5 years All Region, and 6 years All District Band. I was National Honor Society 3 years in a 3 year High School. We were the smallest 4A school at the time, when 4A was the largest sized there was in Texas. I was chosen All District at linebacker. In District in Corpus Christi, Miller went to the playoffs at the state level in football. I was in Kingsville and we lost to them 7-6 on a missed extra point. The next season Alice went to State level with Bitsy Garcia, who then went to Houston. In baseball, King High School, with Burt Hooten pitching, won State in Baseball. In Kingsville, we went to State in basketball. Riley Odems was at West Oso. Ernest Price and Levi Johnson were at Miller. This district, then, was very competitive in sports. Later, Callalen became the dominant sports school in this area, both in baseball and football. Now, Sinton is up there in producing draftable talent by MLB.

I was then given an appointment to the Air Force Academy. I played a year there for the Falcons at linebacker. When i had to wear glasses, I couldn't become a pilot, I then decided to go to a Civilian School. I was given a scholarship by Gil Steinke at Texas A&I to play linebacker. After my first year there, I busted my ankle out, but I did play linebacker there with Riley Odoms, Eldridge Small, Dwight Harrison, Levi Johnson, Ernest Price were playing and all were drafted and played in Pro Bowl during their careers in the NFL.

I worked and went to A&I, where I graduated. I went to Law School in California for a year...Western State across from Cal State-Fullerton.

I then joined the Army, I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and was sworn in at San Francisco.

I was a veteran for 23 years. I was an NCO for over 19 years.

I then was hired by the Post Office and retired from them after 17 years. I was an official of the Union for over 5 years in Corpus.

My last job, I was a Correctional Officer, until I had to have cataract surgery at 73. I don't begin to worry about a street face to get off the hook.

Your observations concerning Cowboy football and the paths they have HAD to walk, isn't displayed very sophisticated. Myself, I don't hide truth and state it with some valid understanding.

I appreciate that you are a Cowboys fan. I hope that you enjoy this season...

I don't care what gang is running the streets, I dealt with a whole bunch as a Corrections Officer...for real.

Some don't appear to understand that Dallas is already at the format standard for how they won Super Bowls with.

First thing done then was to accumulate castoffs and no names offensive linemen in the draft and built the Wall of Dallas. That is now under microscope levels.

Next they acquired a pair of top end receivers who could push the field each.

The team added a strong runner to carry the running game and push the field consistently.

The team has already drafted the defensive game changers for that end of the field. The defensive line is now well led and deep with young players coming up,

As to buying additional players, they already have their own players that are at that level coming up to be paid. That type of money is already on the table now.

I still hold Parsons to the standard making the team able to over come momentum changers. He wasn't quite there as of last season. I still hold him to that, now!

He needs to become another 5 ring holder that keeps all together, but yea, now.

Now explain, without running to hide, how a previously proven system that is again redone to Championship levels and to show lack of your own thinking, explain coaches that were forged under Jerry, one is now in San Diego and who will produce there in a quality manner.

Then Sean Payton grew up pretty strong from his time in Dallas.

Now, as to the Dak Prescott name game...how come this on NFL channel:

Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford highlight Acho's Top 5 NFC QBs

https://www.foxsports.com/watch/play-67f5f9031001282

Then explain away New Orleans new quarterback, Brandon Cook, why he is going to be top shelf there.

Quarterbacks at that point in a career, like Cook and Prescott, and who are actually talented on a fully functional level...now play back on the block with those facts.

Get this, they learn and incorporate. Prescott is really focused now. Still make mistakes as well. All do, as did Roger Staubach.

You understand and ARE learning. Quit your play act or stay off my posts...this fan isn't going anywhere and isn't going to put up with your own fantasies.

Get real and not hiding behind boys of the hood.

Take on a discussion or your are not really being up front on topic. Naw, not buying your act here...

I grew up in South Texas...and you were unimpressed at the beginning levels of a 'football' player as a youth as well. I showed my values...unimpressed as to reasons, so move on...that was also the beginning levels for a dedicated fan!

I am not really following your barely legible posts but reading the tea leaves:

Moore and Nussmeier in San Diego? I am not sure where this comes from, but I would be willing to bet they are very happy to be working with Herbert over Dak.

"Then explain away New Orleans new quarterback, Brandon Cook, why he is going to be top shelf there."
Brandon Cook? Who is that? He is not a QB in the NFL or in New Orleans.
Fully functional? I am wondering the same thing. What are you talking about?

I apologize the QB named should have been Derek Carr.

No step by step with credit given to who accomplished what. Moore was forged by Jerry Jones and staff/coaches.
Following that one could bring up former Cowboys coach, Sean Payton that came up strong enough in the Jerry system to become the Head Coach for New Orleans and became a winner there.

There is proven solidarity in the path with Jerry Jones is the point.

You don't answer football questions directed to you?

You haven't earned respect enough to micro manage, yet.

Think Elliott would be a very good fit in New Orleans now that Carr is there?

Am I supposed to be excited that Dallas can mold coaches for them to leave and be successful elsewhere?

C'mon now, what block parties have you been attending...answer that for yourself. The reason was already stated.

Using your approach, does that mean hearing and seeing impaired - both?

I understand the standard very well. #4 isn't up to the standard.

I don't think Zeke would be a good fit anywhere unless used sparingly in short yardage and goal line situations. AND for a reasonable salary.

That is your monotone while the NFL Channel, media, and sports writer all over the country have supported ability of Dak Prescott in many ways. Always top 10. Lately, very high in the NFC...which is where the playoffs have to go for Dallas.

As to credability to state full understanding and lie about the truth of circumstances definitely hurts what you state because truth equates to respect. I don't play around or except a lie and move on...that must be your thing then. One doesn't have to use a social convenience when actual morales and ethics come to play.

I'll just start ignoring what is stated by your lack of honest discussion.

Your loss...

He would be a great fit in New Orleans...where being part of a name game doesn't affect their football. Their starting running back now, may have some suspension time coming down the chute. Good night.

Ever been to Law School? Ever been in law enforcement? Ever been a Corrections Officer? Notice I didn't mention the prison in Tyler!

Ever been a law clerk and court reporter?

I was raised to respect law and order and to believe in the actual truth...you don't for real?
I believe the existence of true equality in this country and how it is applied to be a myth.

The real truth would depress the people even more than they are now.

This OP was on target and explains the why's of my respect for both Dak and Jerry. They have made the sacrifices and paid the price through gambles also, to walk the road. I respect both price paid as well as the real qualities fully competitive to justify their walks. Once a person's own path is righted, that is a good quality in that person. Giving players an opportunity as well as a venue to achieve is respectable. Some things in life just have to be learned as well as achieved under duress. That is the nature of the game itself, not using a whipping boy approach that doesn't really respect the dedication and sacrifices.

Jerry always tries to empower his team to win and provides a constant flow in opportunities both as to coaches and player talent. Me, I respect the glory, but also respect the team because I do appreciate the team and the sport itself. They both need the concept, and Jerry provides that in spades...as do his Coaches now as well.

I'm thankful.

What is going to be hid for a Veteran?
