Gibbs always gives praise to the opponent even when he's critical of a call. You could tell that when NE was running up the score on us he was steamed but he didn't say it in the press conference.

He should have. Someone needs to say the Patriots have no class, after running up the score like that. I'm proud of the Cowboys taking the knee in the past, instead of getting the unneeded extra touchdown. I wouldn't mind us running up the score against the Eagles though, they did it to us in 2000.

True, but it doesn't change the outcome and teams that get beat that badly are going to be angry and upset no matter what. The only real retribution can be exacted on the football field.

In 1991 we were beating the Lions 45-0 and had the ball on the 1 yard line and Gibbs ran out the clock...and it was said that Lions players were offended that we didn't go for the TD and humiliated them by kneeing it on the 1.

I was joking! He obviously can speak English if he coaches the Cowboys and plus he was a great player who was undersized but very intelligent. He always gave us headaches up through the first game in the 2005 season against you guys.

The Romo being fat and Jerry paying are also too outrageous to believe. The third I'll admit I've wondered at times but its unsubstantiated other then he kicks major *** and has freakish strength for a 255 lb guy.

I have crossed lines in the past and I was banned for an entire year (entire 2006 season) because of it...but I've learned my lesson. I really like this site and the people here and I don't intend to offend people. I'm really not a mean-spirited person

Well 45-0 means you guys already ran up the score though. One time we played Greenbay, and our kicker had a chance to tie a record by making a field goal, and their players got mad at us for running up the score, when that wasn't even the case. The score wasn't even in the 40's. Anyone have the stats for that game?

Garbage yardage means they scored or amassed those yardage in Garbage time. In which case, it wasn't. There was ten minutes left in the fourth quarter and if Gibbs never thrown that flag, they could have come within 4 with over 5 minutes to go in the game. 10 minutes to go in the game is not amassing Garbage yardage.

There is a difference between giving reasons for a loss and saying games were stolen.

I believe that a good team can overcome mistakes made during a game and still win if they truly are the better team.

When you stack the box with 8 players to stop AP, your going to do it every now and then, especially when you have a crappy QB like Jackson. There is a reason even LT was playing average the beginning of the year. Phillip Rivers was playing crappy.

If the Vikings had a somewhat decent QB, they would be pretty good. This is reflected simply by the fact that when Jackson was on, he moved the Vikings down and scored within a couple of minutes.

No, our biggest lead was 7-0 in the first half and 10-7 in the second half...then you guys made a huge run and before we knew it was 28-16...we narrowed the gap and had a chance on the last drive but it was far from a game we controlled from start to finish and let you win by fluke.

For those of you doubting the skins resurgent defense don't forget they held the best RB in the league to a mere 27 yards and stymied the vikings high powered offense!

I know this sundays game don't mean anything, but this is something to keep in mind if we meet them again in a few weeks in a much more meaningful game. If we can't run the ball we are going to be in a lot of trouble...

50%? You're coming into our house where you haven't won in 3 years, won't be playing your best WR, your best corner, and likely your starting NT and center. This is a must win game for us. I don't doubt you guys will fight particularly your defense and the backups...but all the intangibles favor us here as they will favor you if we meet in the playoffs.
