The Skins held AP to 27 yards!

I have analyzed game film from the Skins and they are a completely different defense than they were about a month ago. They are taking away both the running and passing game of opposing offenses.

And as good as Jason Campbell was playing, the veteran Todd Collins is playing at an even higher level and their offense is finally playing like an Al Saunders offense.

I'm just not sure we are the better team right now despite our record - throw it all out come playoff time because everybody is 0-0!

WOULD SOMEBODY BAN THIS #$%^&.

For those of you doubting the skins resurgent defense don't forget they held the best RB in the league to a mere 27 yards and stymied the vikings high powered offense!

I know this sundays game don't mean anything, but this is something to keep in mind if we meet them again in a few weeks in a much more meaningful game. If we can't run the ball we are going to be in a lot of trouble...

Oh no, sure hope we don't run into the world beating Skins.

Watch the Cowboys 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string guys beat the Skins at FredEx Field.

And if they don't, watch the game be very close, with the Crapskins starters struggling vs. the Cowboys.

After Dallas took the lead, Campbell threw for 178 yards more than half of his passing yards in a little over a quarter's worth of action.

Not to completely run this into the ground (but I have to defend my quarterback) looking at the play-by-play on NFL.com really only 88 of his yards could have possibly come against the prevent unless Dallas started playing prevent up by 8 with 11:32 to go in the game.

There is no way you can name 9 RBs better than purple jesus. And it was 27.

I would say that while not in prevent , Dallas's corners were playing off almost the entire game. If the pass rush is not working, then you will complete passes on this secondary

better is an opinion, i can name 9 other good/great backs and say they are better/just as good as/then him. on a side note, when did i say he was number 10?

Uh, they played 8 and sometimes 9 men in the box and dared the Vikes to pass with Jackson. When he couldn't, it was over.

You're right he did have 21 yards receiving, but I think the OP was referring to shutting down the running game as impressive. Right now I can only think of LT, Willie Parker, Fred Taylor, and Brian Westbrook who could be called equal players. But I guess an argument can be made for Marion Barber, Stephen Jackson and Frank Gore. I suppose that gets you to "top ten." But IMO only LT and Westbrook compare.

Yeah I'd put Westbrook higher, not as a pure running back, but because of his abilities coming out of the backfield as a receiver. He's caught 86 balls for 714 yards a 5 tds. That's ridiculous. I think half those stats came against the Skins.

We should be very apologetic that he decided to show up and inform everyone how great the Commander defense is because they held Peterson to 27 yards.

Now, if he was a real trooper, he'd pop on over to the Niners message board and bow down to the greatest defense in the NFL because they held Peterson to three yards.

Our Oline is better then the Vikes across the board. We will run on the Foreskins and throw on them too. It's easy to defense the Vikes, they have no passing game. By the way, AP is no the best RB in the game.. Cmon dude!!!

Your right side is slightly better but their left side with McKinnie and Hutch in particular is vastly superior.

You couldn't run on us in the first game at your place and we didn't even stack the box.

Commanders do have a good Run D: they're #8 in the league. The Cowboys are #4 and the Vikes are #1. I think we ran against the Vikes; the game's been so long ago I'm not sure though.
