Nothing like good ol' fashioned venom between Boys and Skins fans.
Listen, I really like our chances tomorrow. But it's not going to be a cakewalk. The Commanders match up with us very well. Also, I don't buy into the crap that their CBs are banged up and won't play.
I think they will.....as a matter of fact, I think they may even be playing possum. Gibbs is known for this.
We are very evenly matched.
I'd say we're better at QB, WR, TE, DL, and DB. I'd say they're better at RB, H-back, OL, and LB. I think they have a very complex blitz package.
We're playing at Fed-Ex in a meaningful game, the crowd will be juiced, and there's a possibility that the weather will be tough. We haven't stopped the run well, or run well ourselves lately.....Say what you want about passing the ball. But I think we'll play conservatively. Now, if we run the ball well, watch out.
All this screams "close game".
I'm curious how we'll try to protect Drew. If we go max-protect, we'll go nowhere. And I'm real nervous about having our OL try to pick up the frantic blitzes of the Skins.
