It will be a close battle and will go into the last minutes of the fourth quarter. Brunell will mount a 80 yard TD drive to come back from behind and win 27-24. Anouther heartbreaking loss for the cowboys and the end of their playoff dreams.

Change the word "cowboys" to "St. Mary's Catholic School for Reformed Young Ladies" and this prediction has a chance to become a reality. On second thought, Even SMCSFRYL could light up the foreskins secondary.

Have you ever noticed that all these stupid Skids fans write in this fluffy, dramatic prose? It must come from sneaking off to the bathroom with those cheesy romance novels that their fat, trash breeding mamas read when they were kids. I also love how this fool spelled another. Is this a British Skids fan?! I thought the Brits had more class than that.

I just have a feeling.

Might be cancer- that would be a shame- better get it checked out, well, on second thought, nah, you'll probably be ok just letting it go.

I love it when the Deadskins fans run their mouths then have to eat those words .... and they have so often lately. :)
Commanders' fans never eat their words. They just wait until next season and use them again.......and again.....and again.

nope sorry these two teams are going in diffrent directions the cowboys are going through a tough few weeks and have done relatively well in hard games the skins are barely winning games they should be domintating (Rams, Cards), and are losing games they should be winning (SD, Oakland, Tampa) so try to play like that in a game they should lose (Dal, NYG) and they will get murked. Warning to Commanders fans don't count on having another miraculous win.

The thing I don't understand is why people are saying it will be a close game. Cowboys 34 Skins 13

This will be a close game. I don't see how or why anyone thinks it'll be a blow-out.

How many blow-outs have we had this year? 3? all at home....We haven't had a blow-out win on the road in years. Even the Niners, a team we should have destroyed, was a close game.

I think we'll fight ourselves the first half of the game. We'll play for a close game.

I think we will win if we can stop the run, but I've been worried about this aspect of our game since the preseason. I'm hoping the last few games are the exception, not the rule.

Portis is a dangerous runner. The Commanders will stay committed to the run unless we can somehow build a lead. They don't turn the ball over. I hope we can keep Portis from having the big run.

I had a feeling of dread the entire week before our first game with the Commanders. I felt all week that something terrible was going to happen. I don't have that feeling this time. I'm comfortable with our chances.

But it's going to be a fight.

The only thing that kept it close the first time was our conservative offensive approach.

Portis is a solid RB but he is not an every down guy and when they try to go that way they insure they are not scoring more than 20 points. Brunell did nothign against us the first time until 3 mins left and frankly I see no reason to fear him now provided you keep someone over the top of Moss or allow Newman to run with him.

It should be a close game but 1 we control by 10 points or so throughout in my honest opinion. The Skins started the seaosn quite well but the defense has fallen off a great deal as the seaosn has dragged on and Brunell has been really bad for a lot of weeks in a row now after a torrid start. He seems to have tired a la Vinny.

Both teams are focussed and need the game and that tells me the better team should win. By virtue of the draft classes and off-season additions Dallas is the better team.

Now, that was mean. And by 'mean' I mean 'kind of funny.'

We've done very good against the run this year except for the KC game and maybe the away Giant game. We've stopped some really good RB's this year. KC oline is very good, the Foreskins oline doesn't come close to those guys. Portis did jack against us the first game, our Dline totally manhandled them. As for them turning the ball over, ahh, Brunell threw 3 pickles last week against the Cards poor defense. The Foreskins D is close to last in the league in forcing turnovers.

I can see us beating them convincingly. Their CB's are all hurt, Samuels doesn't know if he can even finish the game with his bad ankle and knee, LaVar is probably out. We will score on them regularly. Offensively, they are terrible. They have 1 WR in Moss, Brunell is starting to stink up the joint and they can't score. They've had trouble scoring all year long. I see us winning this game big....

a few relevant points- dallas has actually not played well vs the run of late- check the last 3 games. conversely, portis and the running game has been very good.
only 1 of brunells 3 INT's can really be attributed to him. cooley tipped one and didn't make a play on another deep pass. brunell hasnt been great, but he hasnt had help.
also, arizonas D is middle of the pack- not poor. only 5 spots down from dallas in yardage.
the skins are near the bottom in turnovers, but that stat is misleading. i'll try to find the link, but there is a stat about how many fumbles they have caused vs recovered. its something like 20 vs 5. same with the O- they have fumbled and recovered at a similar rate, whereas the league average is closer to 50%. more a lack of luck as far as the fumbles are concerned than anything. also, they have caused almost as many INT's the past few games as they have the first 9 games- partly cuz they are healthy with griffin on the line and partly cuz they finally benched harris for rogers.

defensively, they have been playing as well as they have in years. if springs and rogers and lavar can play, dallas should have trouble scoring.

2 boys fans from germantown? one of you guys were probably the guy i saw wearing a roy williams jersey going into the walmart a couple of months ago. i'll be looking for you monday in my darrell green jersey :D

Dude don't try it, I live here in Maryland and get all the news from WTEM and other sources. I know just how much your bums are struggling and how hurt they are. You're forced to start Walt "Burned again" Harris on the corner opposite of Springs. Harris is terrible and hated around here. Springs has a straind groin and practiced just once this week and that was the "walk through". A strained groin, he won't finish the game. I listen to the callers on WTEM, most of them want Brunell gone cause he's stinkin up the joint. As for the forced turnovers, Foreskin fans have been crying about not getting them all year long.. So, save the noise dude, we all know that yall STINK. You won't get 2 "Miracle" plays this time around. "Miracle Plays" is how Gibbs describes them all the time...

that's why i said "if" rogers and springs and lavar can play....and lately, the D has been getting more turnovers. and i said brunell hasnt been great. how they played 2 months ago wouldnt be relevant- unless youre talking about scoring 14 points with under 4 minutes to play to win a game or something...
