Good questions.

1. He was never a Pollard-type of running back and he became a cap casualty since the Titans had a blossoming star in Henry.
2. Teams were interested in Murray but he decided to retire. Probably a pretty smart move considering he would be on the downswing of his career and could preserve his health in retirement.

My point was that with Dallas he lost his home run hitting ability after his rookie year and happened to regain it when he left. Same thing seems to have occurred with Zeke in terms of losing that home run hitting ability. Not sure if it is something organizationally in how we approach our RBs that hinder their ability to continue hitting the big plays.

Murray retired.. But to the earlier point, pretty much every team in the league is using a running back tandem these days. It's why the argument about Zeke's value began in the first place. Frankly it's all the same to me.. One back, two backs, three backs.. doesn't matter how you get the production so long as you get it.

Let's just say Emmitt Smith wasn't a speed demon, but he was fast enough.
And he had that line for good part of his peak years.

My prediction is already coming true in that Pollard it getting more of the load and looking better than Zeke doing it.

As far as where YOU will all be, I have no idea. Where will you all be?

I drafted Zeke 5th overall and feeling a little stupid at this point about it. Im hoping he starts kicking butt to be honest, but watching Pollard I think we see more load splitting type stuff.

Emmitt never had that sudden burst like Zeke had, so he had nothing to slow down to. We have all seen Zeke explode, a zoom, well we aren't seeing that now. We can;t help but notice the difference,, then here comes Pollard ZOOM.

Not hard to figure out if Zeke doesn't start looking more like what he has looked a llot us will be disappointed. When you expect the $$$$$ he got you have to deliver that is why ya make the big bucks.

Fans are already turning on him. With his contract and Pollard kicking butt its going to be hard for the majority of the fan base to stay behind him.

More importantly the concept that fans think they have a say in who plays and who gets touches. Fans "turning on Zeke" is the least of his worries. Until those fans suit up on Sundays they're just drunken loudmouths.. Pollard's not going to outrush Zeke every week so these idjits crowing about his greatness will have to crawl back into the woodwork .. probably starting Monday night.. It is what it is..

Like yourself, I seriously doubt Zeke will get another big contract from our FO. Jerry might try to sign Tony early to a lucrative deal and eventually, sign Zeke to a vastly lower one or quite likely, even let him go. Anyway, Zeke's yards are likely to decline greatly, with far fewer carries next year.

Let's do this, while still too early for anything let's cheat and see how it goes Monday night. Will we hear ......Zeke just lacks that zoom,,,,,or something similiar? Will will hear.....this kid Pollard has some serious zoom.....or something similiar? The speed of Tyreek Hill they go on a on about, so....hmmmm?

Anyone thats not a Zeke apologist can see who the better runner is and who is more dangerous with the football. Moore is no dummy so he is going to keep having Pollard more involved.

HommieT24 is the biggest Zeke defender in the house and he cant stand to see whats unfolding before his eyes. Look how angry he gets. Its not like this is some other teams RB, its the Cowboys back and the poor guy cant get excited about it.

His hero Zeke isnt what he thought he was and he cant handle being wrong. Just like half the other little boys on here that cant handle being wrong.
 
The good news is Zekes salary isn't going to cripple the team. He is still productive and with a 17 game season it's nice to have two productive RBs.
