The Suns Playoff Thread: The Road To The Finals

My point was to simply state how you conviently left out the part where Nash hit a 3 after taking that head butt / gash to the nose.

and my point is...he MISSED ONE wayyyyy AFTER that, so him being out for 45 seconds didn't make THAT much of a difference b/c he had just clanked a big shot.

I should have said hit his 3... left the game Again... came back with under 20 seconds and missed a 3.

My bad... damn, you're passionate :p

You worked 15-20 minutes on that post?

you're still messed up dude.

-gets hit in the face (2:40)
-makes a three (2:25)
-misses a three (approx 1:30)
-leaves the game, for the one and only time :)54)
-re enters game :)09)

my point is...plenty of time had passed since he got hit and, as you mentioned, he had made a three. but he missed a big one with a minute left, so i don't know why people are so adament that him being out was such a huge difference when he missed a big shot of his own very late in the game.

Because he is the TWO-time MVP.

That means Most Valuable to one's team.

When there is a minute left in a playoff game and your team is losing... you want the MVP in the game.

If you still don't understand then you are simply degrading Nash and his skills with your bias thinking.

well, if he's really the mvp, then he'll lead his team to a series win.

but it's a joke to say that san antonio won simply b/c he missed 45 seconds.

please.

I never said that.

So go "please" someone else.

BTW, this just in, the MVP award is a regular season award... what happens in the playoffs doesn't matter.

good point.

finals mvp's.....tim, 3 nash, Z-E-R-O.

To say that San Antonio only won because Steve Nash missed a minute of game time is dismissing a great team.

But saying that Steve Nash missing a minute of game time at a crucial point in the game didn't affect the Suns is just as bad.

i'm not saying it didn't affect the game. we'll never know how much.

i am saying...he had his chances, nonetheless, and the spurs did what they had to do to win.

if nash makes that three at 1:30, then the suns are up one and who knows what goes down. but he missed.

For the record... I never blamed Nash missing that minute for a Suns loss.

But I like the way you put that because they are both very valid points.

One thing's clear... Steve Nash is NO Jesse Ventura!

Oh, thanks for the heads up.

The Suns might as well not bother going to San Antonio since a blowout is eminent.

Blood or no blood, there is only room for one Jesse Ventura. And one is quite enough.

no problem! haha, i just feel it bro, specially cuz ill be at that game, i just feel a blowout, well see what happens, i wont run away from my prediction if it dont happen

Can the refs blow anymore?

Amare literally had his legs held, shoes untied, and ankles chewed on.

That was a bad call, but they're still up at the half.

If ever there was a must-win game for the Suns, this is it. With their recent playoff history playing in San Antonio, they can't afford to go down 2-0.

I think the correct term is 0-2.

:D

Suns figured it out:

Thomas vs Duncan

Marion vs Parker

Note:

Nash once again shows why he is the true MVP.

Rave all you want about Parker in Game 1 but Nash has proved he has done wonders all season and now post-season.

*** Duncan is a beat... cries a little too much, but still a beast.
