***The T.O. Thread***

David, people are saying that because it was true for Keyshawn Johnson. Rember, Key was at the center of similar controversy when we first acquired him, coming off of his tampa-bay suspension/firing. Key has been nothing but "good" for Dallas since and the controversy around him has evaporated away.

Now I know that TO and Key are two different people with different pasts (most notably Key having - and TO not having - a former relationship with Parcells) but many hope that if we acquire TO, hell have the same outcome -where he end up being nothing but "good" for Dallas. There's always a chance of that; the question is how bog or small is that chance.

Keyshawn Johnson has never been half the team cancer as TO...

ask PT about the risk/reward....... still no rings! TO will not put us over the top...an offensive line and kicker will!

Still worth the Risk to me...maybe not to you...So hey who knows...we'll see.

Debatable about putting us over the top...He could very well.

and YOU will blame someone else IF TO comes here and we don't win it all...

afterall TO is superman and he can get ANY team to the superbowl...HE's all ANY team needs.... forget the o line... forget a kicker... forget everyone except TO...clone him and field a whole team. that way you can have all of TO you want!

apologist!:D

I never said ANY of that.

Someone posted that getting TO didnt result in SB win(It should have). It was not TO's fault that McNabb choked.

little over the top with that response...huh?:D

No more over the top than the overly emotional hysterics I have read here about people renouncing their fan hood, burning their Cowboys jersey, and slashing their wrists if we sign him.

I agree. I don't like TO and do not want TO but no matter what happens it does not change my loyalty to this organization. It would not be the 1st mistake this team has made

and what happens when we sign him and we don't win..... do you blame Bledsoe? or the o line for not protecting bledsoe so he can deliver the ball to superman?

I am sorry you asked. Because that could very well be the case. Bledsoe hasnt done it yet. Lost one. Was sidestepped for another one by an unknown.

Why oh why did you ask?:(

I guess you dont believe that McNabb McChoked?

Evidently you must not believe the trouble TO has caused in SF and Philly. I know it was everyone fault except for TO.

Getting off the topic arent you?

I was refering to ONE GAME, THE SUPERBOWL.

Its a simple question: Did McNabb choke and blow it...? the Pats were ready to fall...

TO is the topic and you did not answer it. TO has shown to be a problem in both location but all of a sudden he is going to be a good guy? You may buy that BS but I don't. As for the SB I agree McNabb had a bad game but he also got them to the SB despite not having TO though out the playoffs so Philly was a good enough team to make it without TO

McNabb certainly didn't hold up his end of the deal at the end of the game.... but your man SUPERMAN should have picked up the slack!:D TO = Superbowl!!!

Pic is of Rocket catching a pass from Quincy in 2002 in Washington. Rocket had about a half step on Champ Bailey and Quincy threw about a 40 yarder down the sideline. 1999 was the year where they won in OT w/ an Aikman bomb to Rocket and they were in blue.

I'll admit your positive prediction about TO is noteworthy. But there's at least a 7.5 million dollar risk oinvolved speaking strictlt from a dollars and cents perspective.

One of the surest ways to determine a person's ethical standards is by looking at their past record ...that said, what kind of standards have the Cowboys established? Are you willing to accept lower standards to get TO?

You're hiring for a vacancy. Upon review of the qualified applicants you identify someone who is highly qualified and meets your budgetary needs. Are you hiring to replace someone already working satisfactorily; actually there's two employees working satisfactorily. Is your next move to hire the new employee at top dollar (at least 7 mil$ plus), regardless of the fact that references from two other agencies suggest risk!?

You got me ...because you must be joking.
