The Texans Officially Have More Playoff Wins Than The Cowboys since 1996

Wouldn't you much rather lift Panther fans spirits up than drag Cowboy fans spirits down? Be a beacon of joy rather than a Debbie downer?
I've got some news about the Panthers. They broke a record that has been in place since 1981. It took 17 weeks to do it, but they now hold the record for most points given up in a single season with 534. Previously held by the Baltimore Colts with 533.

That's what I'm talking about. Spreading joy. So the Cowboy defense wasn't the worst.

Since 1996 the Cowboys have just 5 measly playoff wins.

The Texans didn't exist until 2002 and just won their 6th playoff game.

CJ Stroud, in just 2 years, has as many playoff wins as Romo and Dak under his belt.
How many Superbowl wins do the Texans have?

While you think about that, Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles have won more Superbowls that Dan Marino and Jim Kelly have.

So what should I take from that? What's your point?

Oh, so Wild Card wins are meaningful now?

I was always told that the Cowboys since 1996 have been total failures because the goal is to... ah, forget it.

Superbowls are the only thing that matters if you want to get excited abd wild card wins be my guest. KC is going to wipe the floor with the Texans and it will be another year they don't see a championship round let alone a superbowl. If you want tove envious of thar be my guest.

Well if Superbowls are the only thing to get excited about, it will be a long while before there’s much excitement around here!

Giving Dak more money isn't going to make him start caring about winning. He's already the highest paid in NFL history and plays like he doesn't give a damn about anything but himself.
I think you missed his obvious sarcasm.

Texans have a real working GM.
Texans have a passionate, HC.
Texans have legit 2nd year QB.
Texans value defense.

Texans are a well ran football team building in the right direction, kudos to that Organization.

Sidenote: Cowboys are about money and business, winning football isn't important to them.

Yep, we have a GM who at best is invested in things part time. A guy managing the cap who has no idea how to manage the cap. Finally they have no idea how to evaluate talent or recognize what is good. They think that simply drafting a guy and throwing a star on the helmet makes him a star.

Yep, they act like they're running a McDonald's franchise.

How can you say what you just said about the Super Bowls and still be a Dak over Dallas fan?

Gotcha.

Jerry would've ensured Deshaun Watson never left Dallas if he was a Cowboy.

The Texans got rid of him and made out WAY better for it.

Yep, Dallas really has no idea how to evaluate talent and will consistently overrate their own guys. This is how you end up overpaying Zeke instead of letting him walk. This is how you end up extending Dak Prescott twice instead of letting him walk. This is how you end up extending Lawrence - all these guys were largely extended based on stats from a few seasons - most of which wasn't impressive or earth shattering in any way.
