Since the Texans joined the league in 2002, both teams are basically the same. A lot of people born after 1992 wonder why the Cowboys get so much attention when they have had pretty much the same results as the other team in the state.

If it wasn't for Jimmy, the Cowboys brand would be the equivalent of the Raiders right now. A once proud/iconic franchise that had success in the 60s-80s.
The Raiders have at least been to a SB in the 21st Century.

Yup.

And how did they win today? Nasty D. And how did they get that nasty D? High draft picks and extra picks from trading their QB.

You don't build a nasty D just because you want to. There are a few exceptions, but mostly you have to tear it down and lose for a couple seasons.
That's why this year was the perfect opportunity to reset the organization .... but they didn't.

Who cares?

Other NFL fans in general and especially Los Angeles Chargers fans

What do you get for winning playoff games?
Answer: postseason advancement, which is the goal (or should be) of every team--pro or amateur--in any sport.

Nothing. Maybe someday they'll win a Super Bowl, or even actually make it to one. Even then, I still won't care.
Someone will create a thread about them simply reaching the Super Bowl should it ever happen. Everyone caring even one iota about their accomplishment, whether they are Texans fans or not, will post in it. Then again, my crystal ball's factory warranty expired long ago--so maybe I will be wrong about that proclamation, lol.

Takes a savvy GM to reset. Jerry doesn't even understand how. Those high draft picks from previous losing were a huge part of our 3 super bowl wins. As were the valuable 1st round picks from the Walker trade.

Jerry is way too stupid and self-involved to rebuild. He's too weak to make the hard decisions required of it. Worst GM in the NFL.

Saying "The Texans Officially Have More Playoff Wins Than The Cowboys since 1996" is kind a low bar to aim for.
Think it's just highlighting how pathetic this franchise has been, not saying the Texans are anything special.

And low bars are the only thing this team has reached or even failed to reach in the past 30 years.

Since 1996 the Cowboys have just 5 measly playoff wins.

The Texans didn't exist until 2002 and just won their 6th playoff game.

CJ Stroud, in just 2 years, has as many playoff wins as Romo and Dak under his belt.
And it won’t be long until Nix passes Dak also. Another coach and quarterback Dallas could’ve had and Jerry were smart..

I am sure the entire NFL has more playoff wins than the Jonesboys since 1996.
