The thing about Purdy is he is small

I watched two of their games this year and Brandon Aiyuk catches everything thrown near him. He is like how Dez used to be for Romo.
You can tell Purdy trusts him 1000%. He will just chuck the ball near him and Aiyuk comes down with it. What Purdy is good at is making his decision and trusting that his receivers will make a play for him. That allows him to get the ball out quick and more often than not, his skill players do make a play for him.

You can tell Purdy doesn't have a strong arm because some of these passes look like Cooper Rush duck floaters.
I think we will get an INT or two in this game.

..one thing Dallas does, is bring pressure. Going to be fun..

They said that Purdy was interception machine in college. Maybe, he'll degress to the good ole days. ;)..

You could be right.. only I don't think Purdy is going to have the benefit of playing in the same division as three of the most incompetent franchise in sports for the better part of two decades. The Rams like to win.. the Seahawks like to win.. the Cardinals are.. well the Cardinals but that Dobbs kid bears watching. If he continues on his current trajectory they could be using that #1 overall pick for a stud defender instead of some "might be good QB."
You don't wamt Purdy to be successful. Just admit it.
This garbage about his size is just that.
You can cherry pick so called facts all you want and it MEANS NOTHING.
So far the guy is a baller. That is what matters. Your personal problem with that means nothing.

He has an incredibly quick release and his receivers are fast. so if were going to hit him in the chops we best be playing press coverage and we need to get there because if we dont and they got a good line we are gonnna get roasted deep

Forgot about Tagovailoa - 6'1, 217.
Somebody is straight up lyin about Tua's measurements. Have you seen that pic of him greeting Josh Allen after the game? No way in hell that's only a 3 inch height difference. And there is also very little chance that he's almost 220 pounds the way he gets ragdolled by defenders.

He’s the same size as Hurts. I guess that’s why they’re both such bad quarterbacks.
Yup. Is there any small quarterbacks in next years draft so we can get to the NFC Championship games like Purdy and Hurts did?

Size matters

You seem to be taking my analysis of what we need to do to beat the 49ers and by extension Purdy as some sort of "personal" hate thing. Now I admit I hate the 49ers.. but I have nothing against Brock Purdy other than the fact that he plays for them.

Right on.
Since American Tackle Football was started....from peewee leagues through the pros - teams have straight up lied about the height and weight of their players.

Success is subjective and can be interpreted differently by different individuals. It is not accurate to assume that someone does not want another person to be successful simply based on differing opinions or perspectives. People can have different views and still wish success for others. With that, I am a Cowboys fan, not a Brock Purdy cheerleader. I do not root for any 49er QB

Yeah I don't know why people take these measurements as gospel. Mickey Spagnola and Bill Jones were having a field day about the new center Hoffman? because he was listed as like 6'4" 270-something when he was first signed. You can take one look at that kid and see he's well over 3 bills. It's like they kept his college or maybe even high school weight and just never bothered to correct it. I see the Cowboys list him now at 302.. which still seems a little low given his girth.. but what the heck right.

Yeah for that reason alone I want Purdy broken in half this Sunday. Nothing personal.. I just want my team to beat him to a pulp. Cause if they do we win.. People get to caught up in this personal agenda crap. I don't care if Purdy throws for 500 yards 6 TDs.. NEXT week.. Long as he gets mollywhopped THIS week.

Purdy leads the NFL in passer rating. He lead the NFL in passer rating last year but he didn't get enough games to qualify.

I don't think that Purdy is the best QB in the NFL. That said, he isn't trash either. The big thing with SF is their overall system and playcalling. Purdy does what he is supposed to do within the system. You don't stop SF by stopping Purdy. You stop SF by stopping the entire system.

Dallas has actually been pretty good at that the last few years. The reason for the losses has been almost exclusively offense.

Dallas can not turn the ball over (again) and expect to win. I think MM gets that, which is the base reason for the changes on offense.
Great post. Been saying this for a year. Purdy is good but not a difference maker. There's probably 20+ QBs in the league, if given the training camp crash course, who can direct SF's excellent scheme. It's Shanahan, not Purdy.

Thanks Ronnie. I said something similar and got ripped a new one. I just want my team to kick butt and take names. By any means.

While I agree with this.. I am not about to talk down Purdy like he's trash or anything. There is something to be said for being able to calmly play within oneself and direct the offense. They are not asking him to take many chances and it's paying off. That's good coaching. You just wonder why it is when OUR coaches do the same it's seen as a negative by some. I appreciate good coaching. Accentuating what your players are good at and staying away from that which they're not is the hallmark of good coaching. The Cowboys went almost 20 years without really good coaching. I'm not about to complain now that we're finally getting some.
