A Trade, A trade??? A trade for a guy who can't beat out Cooper Rush for #2..You're joking, right? Come on man, that makes no sense...
Lance named 2022 starter over JimmyG in training camp.

Broke his leg early in the season.

Dak also was a 4th rd pik...
Now 60 million/ yr that cuts us off from FA help
Just saying...
man you really need to read all the simple things this FO could have done to free up cap space before you say that...Im not even talking about Dak/ no Dak im telling you this FO could have had FA's every season the last 10 seasons and have CHOSEN not to get them..seriously check the facts before you let this FO off the hook on FA spending ..they have been lying to you.

Lol, you might want to see how it turns out. Lance still has a chance at being good.
I agree. I want to see what the kid has! Is he a replacement for Dak right this second? NO, but could he be some day???

Ya i know...i posted this 3-13..
According to NFL writer K.D.Drummond, the Dallas Cowboys could clear over $60 million in cap space this week without extending Dak Prescott’s contract by making moves with other’s guys’ contracts and using Dak’s current contract. How? According to Drummond:

“The Cowboys aren’t beholden to anything here, though clearly a long-term agreement with Prescott would be the best way to create the most additional cap space. Remember though, Dak Prescott currently has two void years on his deal and like what they did with Zack Martin, they likely have language built in to add one or two more void years, allowing them to convert Prescott’s salary into a restructure bonus, adding more cap space.”

Again…all that WITHOUT extending Dak Prescott’s contract. They could make additional moves with Lamb, Diggs, Steele and cut LVE among others. This just drives me crazy when we hear SJ rail about the cap restrictions that 31 other teams don’t seem to have trouble handling. The Cowboys either chose NOT to seriously pursue FA or are just flat incompetent.

****
What i said is blowback for the shade thrown at Lance by the Daksters without him even taking a snap

They want Dak annointed, every one else criucified....(its almost Easter lol)

Lance is the same age as a lot of the guys going into the draft this year. Who cares that they traded a day two pick on him? This really ranks low on the Jerry blunder list.
Because there just might be QB prospects available in the fourth round in this year's draft that have a better upside than Lance with his trials and travails since entered the league three seasons ago.

He could be very good out of the gate after working with McCarthy and Dak.

OK, pretty dumb thing to say. But you never know. I believe the Vikes would have traded for him last season once Cousins went down. Still I get your point. Trading for a QB that couldn't get past the #3 spot on 2 teams would be ridiculous LOL

Stop posting Lance broke his leg.
Severe ankle injury = fracture.
"Surgery was performed at Stanford Hospital and repaired two injuries to Lance's ankle, a fibula fracture and ligament disruption," the team said in a statement. "Lance will start the rehab process, and head team physician Dr. Tim McAdams is confident that he will recover completely in time for a full return in the 2023 season."

Broken ankle, fibula, and torn ligaments.

Fibula is the lower/smaller leg bone.

Lance named starting QB in 2022 training camp. Over JimmyG, who was the #1 QB for SF.

I would hope so, they traded 3 #1 picks for him.

You think the owner would be happy with him sitting?

Do you honestly believe, that meant Trance was a better QB than Jimmy G?

JimmyG not a scrub QB.

Be glad the kid broke his leg. Otherwise, we never make that trade.
