NFL draft profile says otherwise.
No, it does not. Lance was a toolsy project pick. His athleticism and big arm got him drafted way too high.

Seriously, dude, look up the definition of blue chip. Anyone can tell you he was not one.

Yeah you're wrong. You don't get drafted that high if teams don't think of you that way. It's fine to have a strong opinion, don't change facts.
No, dude, you shouldn't speak of things you don't know. Lance was not close to a blue chip prospect. You aren't changing facts, you're flat out lying. I have no idea why.

How in the world do you guys not even know what blue chip prospect means? I mean, this is basic stuff.

What did College recruitment say???

Not 1 school had him listed as a QB.
Lance initially wanted to play at the University of Minnesota and had been ready to commit there after attending a recruiting event in February 2017. However, he was deemed a wide receiver or defensive back prospect by them and other Power Five schools. He eventually committed to North Dakota State in December 2017

How could they be so wrong about a Phenom QB, that had 55 completions in his HS career?

Not touchdowns. That was not a typo. Completions.

It only takes 1 team to get drafted that high.

Ask Al Davis.

No one is has traded for Zach Wilson yet, either. He was drafted ahead of even the phenom Trey Lance.
Wilson needs time to develop. Watching Rodgers, how he prepares and carries himself will be an educational experience.

True, but he wasn't considered a reach or a crazy pick. There were likely several teams who'd have taken him high.

The Jets are trying to trade him and have signed a vet QB2. Perhaps he can watch how Lance “prepares and carries himself” and he can be a phenom, too.

Wilson? I take it you haven't watched him?

Wilson = Trey Lance. Same guy. Toolsy project pick who doesn't appear to be capable of playing QB at the NFL level. He's had 3 years to develop w/ a ton of playing time, what are you suggesting that it takes?

Enough to be a top 3 pick a couple years ago.
How do you guys not know that QB's are consistently overdrafted, and are often drafted due to their tools. Seriously, how in the world do you guys not know this? Wentz, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, RGIII, Justin Fields, Paxton Lynch, all the same type. Toolsy guys, often from small schools, who are drafted way too early simply because they can throw the ball 80 yds and/or run. Judging these QB projects from where they were drafted is just silly and makes zero sense.

Wentz made more money than the other five QBs you listed combined and has a winning record as an NFL starting QB. He’s out of the league at age 31. Wilson, Lance and Fields are trending toward being out of the league before they’re 30.

Wilson has way more experience than Trance.
