Now let me say that I love Dak and everything he brings to this team and our offense. I liked him very early on in preseason, more than most. I am extremely excited about the present and the future of our Cowboys. Having said that this offense would be that much better with a healthy Romo.
If Romo had played on Sunday night the game never would have went into overtime. Actually it would have been over by the 4th quarter. There were guys running wide open all night and I am not even talking about the throws that Dak missed on, I'm talking about the ones he didn't even make.
I think we would have won easily against the Eagles. Probably by two TDs. I know everyone is in the "now" but don't forget how special a QB Romo is. I would rank him only behind Brady and Rothlisberger. I understand the injury concerns but when Tony is fully healthy he should have his job back and if he losses it to injury or bad play so be it but he should get it back.
Of course all the media and fans are going to say "Jerry is going to blow this whole thing like he always has by putting Romo back in", but I think it is the complete opposite. I think that Jerry is going to blow this whole thing by leaving Dak in there. Again this is not a knock on Dak, it's just that Romo gives us the best chance to win a Super Bowl this season.

doesn't hurt, nor is it the truth. two different qb's that bring elements the other can't. week to week no matter who is under center we will be able to say how things could have been different.

additionally who cares if the game doesn't go to overtime? end result is a win. we got it. play whoever and lets roll

You might be right. But you ride the hot hand until it crashes and burns. You have Romo there waiting just in case. Good problem to have.

Well by the time he gets to start, it will have been Dak who got this team to the point of being a Superbowl team, so....

I love Romo for what he has done and always thought of him as being a great QB, but right now this whole team is playing behind Dak where behind Romo they haven't. Maybe Dak has gotten this team to believe enough so as when Romo comes in, it will go smooth. We will see. Either way, not up to us anyways

I dont get this line of thinking. So play the inferior QB until we lose games? Wait until Dak loses games (games that can affect playoff seeding) to insert Romo ?

It's not truth, it's an opinion.

Maybe it would of been a blowout, or an OT win. All I know is that when two decent NFCE teams battle it out, anything can happen.

The offensive line, a STUD RB and a very good QB got this team to this point. I honestly don't think that Dak has this much success last year with McFadden next to him. I also think we would have an actual easier time running the ball with Romo making the DBs play off more. Having said all of that it is nice to see Dak audible into a run play when Tony never turned down a pass.

When our run game is clicking.. Give me Dak.. When it's not.. Give me Romo.

Also...

Those blitz and coverages that Dak struggled with Tony Romo struggled with as well.

I think our offensive coaching staff needs to find better ways to take advantage of that specific type of defense that has gave us fits and ended our season time and time again.

All out blitz + press coverage vs Dallas and our QB's just can't get rid of the ball.

Dak missed a ton of throws and missed a ton of reads and had a horrible INT. We would have won easily. It's the truth.

Makes zero sense. Romo killed it in 14 with the same gameplan. I think he had the best QBR that season.

I remember 2014, when Romo would yell "KILL, kill, KILL" and would hand it off to Murray.

The year that Romo threw less attempts than 2013 or 2012, yet had a career year.

Dak has now done what only the 3 best dallas qb's have done, and that is win 6 in a row.
he is doing it in his rookie season, which none of them did.
Winning is the bottom line, it doesnt matter how they get it done.

The excitement of the players at the end of eagle game says it all about how the players feel.

I understand that.. Every QB benefits from the run game.

I just like our base offense better when Dak is a threat to roll out, run zone reads, and all of the east and west football we play.

I would've rather had Romo sunday night for sure but Dak found a way and that's all that matters.

We just cant afford to let Dez run free in the secondary and Dak not get him the ball. Hopefully we get that squared away.

This is not true

Romo first game vs philly in 14...he was awful
He was awful vs Philly in first game in 15
Romo had numerous other games in 14 where he was just as bad

Romo isn't perfect guys..he has games where he plays poorly too..
