I am convinced that the folks who feel this burning desire to post RW threads over and over do it out of loneliness. They need the attention and are desperately seeking validation of their theories because mom and dad did not love them enough and show them enough care.
Thank, you, doctor.

OK, Julian, you are a genus. Now respond coherently or go back to your room

And this is the reason we don't go far this season

This team has more pressing issues than Roy Williams.I think Roy needs to step it up,but I also think the team as a whole has underachieved at times.

It would help if Romo would thow him the ball somewhere he didn't have to leap for it all the time. Not sure who is at fault, but they are not in sync, most of Romo's passes are high and usually behind or far in front of Roy, but everyone blames Roy.

Well played. My first name is John. Not sure where julian came from. If you want to ***** and complain and post the same garbage day after day about things we already know about RW, go ahead. I will continue to say those that do that are clueless lonely people out for nothing more than to get a response. You clearly fall into "I post things because I am lonely and want people to validate my existence" category. No big deal. It is who you are on this particular issue.

I like many of your posts but this daily beating of RW is just excessive. You are a better poster than that.

He's perfectly placed at the #1 WR spot, where Romo can look to him first and immediately rule him out (check him down) for the rest of the play. That will keep Austin and Crayton at their #2 and #3 WR spots where at least Crayton is best suited to play. Removing Roy Williams from the lineup simply slots them out of position and brings in Hurd (not exactly an improvement over Roy Williams). Please let's not bring up Ogletree either. He's here for the future; not now.

But basically keeping in RW forces the unit to have one dummy WR in the lineup, and that is what's stifling the offense. But I have the solution. Garrett should have Roy Willimas straking down the filed on go-routes on EVERY pass play. Because those plays take longer to develop, Austin can become Romo's first checkdown, with Williams second. If he' open throw him the ball, selectively. If not, at least he's taking a safety with him out of the play on every pass play, opening the intermediate and underneath zones for Austin and Crayton to make an impact.

The bartenders kept getting in front to the set during that last drive yesterday... it looked like Romo totally ignored Roy on every snap - just said the heck with it and threw it to Jason, Jones Pat and Miles. It's like we are going with a 1 or 2 receiver set on every down with Roy on the field. I don't even care who's fault it is, but what greater evidence do you need to sit this guy?

Jerry will not release Roy in the offseason because he's stubborn when coming to talent he is solely responsible for acquiring. Roy will be a Cowboy in 2010, no doubt.

Zoners Roy is not fitting in to this offense. Romo is doing just what he did last year at times..Trying to satisfy an ego! Crayton is a better receiver so why is he not starting with Miles? Crayton also catch the passes. He will have an occassional drop but not like Mr. Put it right in my hands like you do Miles. Romo is forcing the ball at times just to include RW. He has terrible hands..He is cocky and hasn't accomplished much..The great Michael Irvin tried to give him pointers but he wanted no advice saying it doesn't work for him..I'm calling for Crayton over Roy. Your thoughts?

Why he let TO go didn't he? Having said that no I don't think they will let RW go I think they will continue working

Because He is getting paid way to much money not to be on the field. Forget His ego, it's Jerry Jones ego.

One more time:

The ball was thrown to the right spot,,, Champ Bailey illegally chucked Roy off his route 20yrds down the field,,,

He did but that was basically after 3 years of trying to make it work.

There are few things as painful as separated ribs. I could hardly breathe when I separated three of them in an accident.
The only reason why the pass may have looked crappy was due to:
  1. Champ Bailey illegally chucking Williams twelve yards downfield
  2. Williams attempting to jump for the ball too early due to being thrown off his route
It was actually a well-thrown, timed pass by Romo. Whether or not Williams would have caught it can be debated (and probably will on this thread  ). I'm still not certain how Bailey wasn't flagged for such a flagrant foul.

Forcing the ball to RW? Hmmmm................. Here are the Times Targeted figures for the Top 4 receivers on the team:

Witten - 71 (54 catches)
Austin - 62 (35 catches)
Williams - 57 (24 catches)
Crayton - 51 (27 catches)

Yet, no one is *****ing when he throws the ball to Witten when he is double or triple teamed. I'll take RW and leave Crayton where he works best - in the slot.

As far as I'm concerned we need them both out there. I think Crayton has always done a good job as a slot receiver
