Unless the WR fairy shows up and sprinkles fairy dust on his rear end, ain't nothing going to change.

I have been saying Williams is our #4 WR in Talent and Potential, let me break it down.

Talent (Current Skill Level):
Miles Austin
Patrick Crayton
Kevin Ogletree
Roy Williams
Sam Hurd
Manuel Johnson
Jesse Holley

Potential (Possible Skill Level in the future):
Miles Austin
Kevin Ogletree
Patrick Crayton
Roy Williams
Jesse Holley
Sam Hurd
Manuel Johnson

I dont support benching him, I want him to stay starting and I want to see some other team trade for him and dread that decision on draft day, Imagine us using our 28th pick in the 2010 draft, Ken Hamlin and Roy Williams to grab #5 pick and get Eric Berry to start at FS next to Sensabaugh at SS? That's a possibility if a team needing a WR is up there, so keep him and keep trying to make him look decent.

No team is going to make that trade

Roy is a decent WR and good be great bait in a Draft-Day trade, benching him kills that and that therefor is a bad idea.

If we can trade him + Hamlin to get a Eric Berry and all we have to do is suffer through him for the rest of this season, isn't that worth it to have virtually a Ed Reed/Troy Polamalu in our Secondary? Yes it is.

Decent? Did they change the definition of the word when I wasn't looking?

At least we didn't have to suffer through his atrocious and highly annoying first down celebrations  .

Its probably not their call on that. I suspect Jerry makes that call if/when the team makes that move.

I think trading him is a great idea but no one would be dumb enough to with his contract.

they are gay. hes lame. period. we need a playmaker to go along with austin. a steve smith type.

I know I had said earlier in the week that he was going to have a coming out party, but today he was just bad. I know those throws were alittle high but he has to catch at least one of those. On top of that he just looked like his legs were tired today. last week he had alot more burst . It might be something with Roy williams leg's because he just looked slow and sloppy in his route running.

Here comes the merge.....

He's terrible and what the hell was he laughing at after his last drop?

I've never hated a Cowboys player more than this.

Well then it must be an ongoing problem with his legs because Roy Williams has looked slow and sloppy in his route running since he was with the Lions.

how come we have to revisit this issue every single week.

we get it already....everyone on this board, but me, hates Roy and thinks he sucks.

so now that we have made this common knowledge for like the 1000th thread...can we drop the subject already....and move on to other issues that have only been discussed a few hundred times?

o god not another Roy thread, haha.. give me a mother fn break.. how can you really say he had a bad game?? Romo was absolutely horrible for the most part and the other WR's weren't doing anything until the end as well, Crayton got another lucky flukey TD after Romo ran around for a sec, but yeah keep thinking Roy was just awful out there, why not post anything about Romo throwing 3 balls that basically shouldve been picked, and fumbling the ball once again luckily recovering it.. plus MB3 putting the ball on the ground when we were having 1 heck of a drive on the first series of the game???? WHAT IS IT WITH THE OBSESSION TO BASH ROY

If you could do your job poorly and still get paid for it, you'd laugh too.

Apparently not judging by some of the posts people have been making.

Maybe because his play sucks?? Balls are either hitting him in both hands, or he doesn't bother to turn to look for the pass.

Were the passes high? Yes. Did they hit him in both hands? Yes.

Williams simply isn't any good at this point of the season.

Props to whoever keeps making these snarky thread titles for the Roy Williams threads.

Way to fight the mob.
