I'm currently playing 2 games right now.
Kingdom Hearts - I originally played this a little when it first came out. I rented it, got bored quickly in Traverse town and decided I was done with it. I woke up the next morning to see my ex-wife (fiance at the time) had been up all night playing it. She kept playing, and I watched a little, and because she wasn't very good, she often had me step in to defeat certain sections. The same thing basically happened for KH2, and Chain of Memories on GBA. I never felt the games were that good, but not terrible either. I saw they had the complete set, including KH3 on sale for $20 at Christmas time, and figured my daughter might like to watch the Disney characters, so I had my mom get it for me. Every time my daughter is with me, she asks to play the Disney game, so that's what I do. Most of the way through the first now, and I definitely see why I gave up on it so quickly. It's really a poorly structured game. Poor level design, limited narrative, terrible camera, somewhat clunky controls, etc. That said, it's not horrible to play either. I'm most of the way through the first game now. A long way to go through the rest of the series.
The Last of US II - Now, much to my daughter's disappointment, this one I save for when she's not around (she's 3). She loves scary things, including zombies, and has seen clips from this game, and really would like me to play it, but I don't. I really enjoy this series. I'm about 65% of the way through now, I think. I really would have been satisfied if the game had ended at the halfway point. The story was engaging, I cared about the characters, and it was lengthy enough. Now, since that point (without giving away spoilers), things are...different. I get the why of what is going on, but I'm not as invested, and I'm not sure that I care to be. But, there's still a ways to go, and I'll let things play out. It's fun to play, and the world is a great place to explore.
