I've been holding out on mentioning it, but I was able to snag a PS5 from Best Buy a week ago. Should be here Saturday. They keep changing the day (for the better). I was going to give my PS4 Pro to my grandkids (they are my step-grandkids), but my wife is against it. What do you guys think is a good asking price for the PS4 Pro?

I can tell you that in my area I have seen them floating around the $300 mark still.

Oh, and congrats on snagging a PS5. Enjoy! :)

So I got on this kick to go through and beat all the Super Mario games in order on my Nintendo Switch. I beat Mario 2 the other night, and it occurred to me, I had never beaten that game. All the years I played it throughout my childhood and I never actually finished Mario 2 for whatever reason. It was definitely different. I'm currently in the middle of Mario 3. Always one of my favorite Mario games.

There are lots of side scrolling games that I didn't complete. Running to the right and jumping was actually challenging. I can complete all the new games now fairly quickly. I don't know if it is an age issue or game design issue.

One of my favorite side scrolling games was quack shot on sega. I did complete that one.

New trailer for Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 at E3.

Looks pretty sweet.

The last Zelda game I have played was Majora's Mask back on the old Nintendo 64 console. Was a huge fan before that title, especially on the 16-bit, but stopped playing them afterwards. Not sure why. Just drifted away from Zelda.

The evolution of the game has been spectacular though. I bet the puzzles are still phenomenal as well.

If you have a switch. I would recommend giving breath of the wild a try. A lot of cool puzzles in that one with the 120 shrines and the 4 divine beasts.

the Hd remaster of skyward sword is coming out in July also. That’s a great game. Also the first story in the Zelda timeline.

Madden sucks. IMO
Call me when EA recovers their soul and actually improves a game without reusing the same generic assets with an old year still visible on it for their current/future games. 99% of their attention goes to MUT and an sadly insane amount still give them that $.

In some positive news Legend of Mana released and enjoying most of it. They stayed true to the original more than some may like. Scarlet Nexus released today and I'm excited for that.

I would love to see EA bring back the NFL and NBA street franchises.

but EA sucks now. No creativity whatsoever.

No, I get it. I think some of the old cartridge games from back in the day are way tougher. I don't recall many (if any) games really giving you a difficulty option either. This was the game. That was it. Good luck. lol

I’m back to chipping away at Bloodborne.

Such a good game. I just wish it was 60 FPS or just remastered all together.
yup. The good thing is that I don't remember it being a noticeably bad 30fps. Some 30fps out there just feel unresponsive and look disgusting but when I was trying to start the DLC a few months back I don't remember the frames being too much of an issue.

I know it's only last gen, but if they could redo it like they did Demon's Souls I'd probably buy it again.

Yeah it’s fun. It just doesn’t feel like a PS5 game but I still want to beat it.

For some reason I don’t find this game nearly as hard as Demon Souls but I’m still in earlier levels.

Got Ghost of Tsushima from Gamefly this week. I'm................not really sure how I feel about the game yet. There seems to be more cutscenes than action so far. The sword battling isn't bad, but, it doesn't really excite me either .The graphics are amazing though. The game looks really good. I think I will keep moving forward with it but I have to admit it hasn't grabbed me and pulled me in, yet anyway.
